The Galley Cafe
● ClosedMarine Parade, Seaford BN25 2QR, United Kingdom“The food, whether a full meal or just a cake is always good, with excellent portions and excellent value; there's even a great choice of drinks. The atmosphere is unique and all the better for it; it's a great place to stop for refreshments or lunch, whether you sit inside or on the decking or the beach. Our walking group's waitress yesterday was totally brilliant, other places take note, this is how it should be done.”

Six - Brighton & Hove
● Open“Excellent food and brilliant service! I had the Ham Benedict on sourdough and it was just wanted I needed after a morning stroll by the sea. Beautifully presented, the ham was top quality, hollandaise sauce was yummy and the poached eggs perfect! I also had a fresh orange juice - I asked if it was possible to have some ginger and they accommodated my request without charging extra. Finally, I had a hot chocolate with coconut milk and that hit the right spot. The waiting service is excellent - very friendly, checking in at convenient time without being too annoying and seemed genuine in wanting me to enjoy my meal. Will definitely go again (this was already my second visit in 2 weeks)”

Bella Italia - Brighton Market Street
● Open“We popped in on Sunday 6th Feb at about 4pm. Polite staff and very clean restaurant. We had a mojito cocktail, bottle of red wine, 2 starters and 2 mains. All in £63. Monika was our waitress and she was very very good. The food was hot and delicious. The restaurant had a constant stream of delivery drivers collecting orders as well as customers coming to eat in and at no stage was there any sign of panic or a drop in the level of service. Thank you Monica it was lovely.”

The Beach Hut Cafe
● Open20 Grand Junction Road, Brighton BN1 1FW, United Kingdom“Love this little cafe. Always order 2 fresh doughnuts, which are warm and delicious, and a coffee and I sit in the nook at the back, staring out to sea, aquiring many pigeon friends, of course. Don't let that put you off, they go away if you ignore them! The service is always super friendly, smiley and relaxed. I first came here because The Pier no longer serves just 1 or 2 doughnuts, you have to buy 5, so for solo guzzlers, The Beach Hut is perfect. Here is my pic of the view from my usual perch at the back of the cafe, a fitting view of 'The Doughnut'.”

Carats Cafe Bar on the beach
● Closed“The nice thing about this place is the location. Right beside the sea. However, it doesn't really have a sea view because it is kind of low down (sounds weird I know but you'll see what I mean when you come). It's got a plaque saying that it is the place where King Charles II set off from when he fled to Fécamp in France to escape from Oliver Cromwell. The food is nice.”

The Grand Central, Brighton
● Open29-30 Surrey Street, Brighton and Hove, Brighton BN1 3PA, United Kingdom“I can be quite critical of venues, and fullers last time let the venue down. Staff dealt with it professionally. So tonight is my 1st visit on fullers promo night. It was fun. Not for staff who worked tirelessly to sort out barcode issues and pricing issues. Mainly due to customers not reading what's included. Can't say simples (copyright lol) So top marks to a team that worked tirelessly to serve customers as quick as they can. Don't wave or tap. One customer said to barstaff about me, well he is waiting patiently. I work in trade and know what a thankless job staff do. Good bar staff know what customers drink and with my swan vesta hair colour, I'm not hard to remember. So like rival venue All Bar One you get a 10/10.”

I had goats cheese & beetroot salad to start then the Strak Frites for mains. Great flavours, great service, even congratulates me on my upcoming wedding when they enquired if there was a special occasion for the bottle of champagne. Can't fault the experience. The staff were lovely, our table was out on the street & perfect for people watching whilst not too busy to feel bothered by it. Thanks guys, it was the perfect lunch.”

Also you can enjoy your day eating around and having fun as you can find fun centers and lovely restaurants.
