"Big park has really good hiking with 3 or 4 trails ranging in in difficultly and elevation. Very nice play ground really good equipment for younger kids. It also has both pickle ball and tennis"
"I come regularly to hike Deems Hill and love the steep climb on the Ridgeline trail for a good cardio workout. It’s a total of 3.6 miles. I’m giving it a 4 because bathrooms could use a little more TLC. No doors on the two stalls in Women’s restroom. There’s quite a bit of traffic so you are rarely alone on the trail. There are mountain bikers, runners, and hikers. Nice pickle ball court but good luck getting a spot on a weekend. Very large grassy area that hosts a lot of soccer games. Nice playground and good size dog park."
"I like to mountain bike here. It's very rugged and rocky. I also like to see the happy dogs on the trail."
"Deems Hills is so beautiful. The hills are all different shapes and they are plotted about perfectly. Great hiking and totally dog friendly. I brought my old lady rat terrier and she had a great time! There are lots of other dogs to meet there. The people all seem friendly and respectful to all park goers. The restrooms or at least the women's was clean and stocked. . We used a grill there and had yummy food too."
"This park is beautiful and clean. Great views and the amenities were clean as well. It is weird that the City of Phoenix does not have doors on some of their restroom stalls, it does make me a little weary, having to use the facilities as a woman"
