"My recent experience with Totym Autos (01/07/2023) have been far from desirable. Here is my honest review. During transaction, Totym was super nice, friendly and easy to talk to. Because I was a student, I told him about my concerns and he assured me that the car was safe to drive and that he takes care of his customers. After transaction, when I came to him with some issues regarding the car, he turned his back on me and was cold and unhelpful. He knew that I was a student and knew little to nothing about cars, which is why I chose to go to a dealership instead of private sellers. After sending the car for a routine oil change, the mechanic told me that there were major issues with the car - first the exhaust/center pipe had been damaged previously and repaired but the repair was done incorrectly (see screenshots from the video the mechanic sent me) such that the centerpipe is not siting at where it should be (white part),it now touches a plastic component of the car (bottom) and causing it to melt. Also some parts of the bottom were fixed with foam, which was absolutely ridiculous. The bottom of the car had been wrecked before (see photos), which Totym failed to inform me. Also, the tensioner belt was old and cracked bad and had to be replaced immediately due to safety concerns. I had to spend hundreds of dollars to fix the tensioner belt but the cost to fix the exhaust/ centerpipe was too much for me. When I told Totym about it, he claimed he didn't know about it, it was just how the car was purchased from an auction. When I asked if the cost of repair could be reimbursed, he told me he didn't make $100 off the car. He completely dismissed me. As a dealer, he failed to verify the safety of the car and sold it to customers. He also failed to inform the customer about prior accidents the car had been and failed to provide a copy of the carfax. From my negative experience, my advice is to stay away from this place if you value your time, energy and money. This place does not operate on good faith and does not have their customers in mind. DO NOT RECOMMEND"
