"Unprofessional, lack of attention to details, apparent lack of experience managing residential property. I had a truly frustrating experience with Brett of Star Residential. I always paid my rent on time and in full for over 3 years, yet I felt more like a nuisance than a valued tenant. It often took weeks, if not months, to get issues resolved. The property manager lacks keys to the property he is supposed to manage and has used this as an excuse to ask tenants to address issues on behalf of other tenants. Recently Brett called me at 10:30pm on a Saturday night to ask me to fix an issue in another tenants unit. Another time, Brett changed the common entry lock but forgot to provide us with a new key. He tried to make it our problem to chase down other tenants to obtain a new key copy. Over two weeks passed before we were finally provided a key and could access our mail, packages, and utilities again. I have many other stories I could tell but I will keep this short. If you’re considering renting an apartment managed by Star Residential, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. I would not recommend them."
