"Great hotel, great location and staff! They made check in super easy and explained everything for my family. They also had super good breakfast and amenities. We called down for a rollaway crib and it was promptly brought up to us! 10/10 service. Would 100% stay here again."

"This was a nice property under Fairmount. Now it's become a "wannabe". No microwave, no mini fridge, " by request only". All fine and dandy, but when you have meds that require refrigeration, and they offer to put them in kitchen? Yea , no thanks. Pretty much threatened to check out if we didn't get one. Beds: were lovely when they were new- maybe 10 years ago. As another review said " you can see the hills and valleys". Spend some money, buy same damn mini fridges and a microwave, and a new mattress. Def not the same spot we stayed previously.."

"Awesome property! Bakhti at the front desk is a lovely welcome to the property, her beautiful smile is matched by her warm demeanor and professionalism. I was running late to a reservation and she made check in super smooth and efficient while also being incredibly kind & friendly! The front door and valet gentlemen are all so friendly and delightful. They open every door, offer assistance & move fast! Everyone I have interacted with during stays here is an absolute pleasure and so helpful! The rooms are impeccably clean, each has a unique look and is well adorned with luxurious amenities. The location is fantastic, a 5 minute walk to the heart of the north end on Hanover street and a quick ride or reasonable walk to many other locations in the city. The views from the property of Boston harbor is gorgeous and there is a nice walking path along the water to enjoy. Great for solo travelers, business trips & romantic stays. Absolutely recommend for a stay in Boston!"

"My girlfriend & I stayed here for her birthday and we had a very bad experience. It was our second time staying with the Battery Wharf, and the first time was an amazing experience. This time as we checked in, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite, soon to realize the only reason for the upgrade was because they overbooked the property and couldn’t fulfill our booked room. After a nice dinner; we came back to the room and started to smell gas. It worsened with the hvac blowing heat (it was February, and freezing outside). We called maintenance, after waiting a long time at 11pm, maintenance came and decided to bleach the entire hvac system. This resulted in the horrible smell of bleach throughout the entire room. We asked to switch rooms but there was nowhere to move us into. We stayed the night with the horrible smell of chemicals. We are not ones to complain but to say this put a damper on our Boston getaway, is an understatement. My girlfriend works in the industry in the city and kindly went to the front desk the next morning to ask for some sort of compensation or credit for the major inconvenience. The front desk attendant & manager on-duty gave her attitude and made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. After fighting with these people, the only thing they offered was to call back when booking our next stay for a small discount. We will never stay here again, and it’s truly unfortunate that this happened. Keep in mind also, that the room we had booked was extremely pricey… I can’t express how upset we were."

"The location was great and looks wonderful from outside. However, that is about it. The wallpaper was peeling at every seam, baseboard, above doors, etc... All the lights didn't work. The furniture besides being dated, all chipped, worn out and paint nicked(the furniture was painted) towels we frayed and worn out. There is no modern wiring for charging devices. I constantly heard people outside all times of the night. We arrived early at approximately 230pm, and no one elsewaswaiting. . We left our bags there and came back at around 430pm. The place was packed with people waiting on their room. You would think we would be one of the first to get in our room since we got there so early. We were the last ones to get our room( A hotel suite) a little after 6pm. I would not recommend this hotel, "FadedGlory". So very disappointed..."
