"We've stayed here a number of times over the years as our kids attended college near by. This staff has always been incredible. They are kind, warm, funny, and professional. Any time we've had an issue they hang in there until it is sorted. In addition to this feeling like a home away from home, it's location is central to so much - and the T is literally downstairs. The rooms and bathrooms are roomy and not at all tiny. And then there is the food! Room service is incredible! And the two restaurants downstairs are amazing too. Overall, a lovely place to come back and rest your head when you are in Boston."

"Excellent hotel with an excellent location!! Located near the city, next to Fenway Park. It was our first time at this hotel with my family and the hotel is extremely clean, comfortable and the rooms elegantly decorated. Upon our arrival, the valet staff and the concierge treated us very kindly and when we went up to the reception the reception staff were also very friendly and gave us a warm welcome, there were three receptionists and all three of them treated us like family. They provided us with a very elegant Hotel Commonwealth bottles of water, and that was a very personal touch that I had not seen in other hotels. We only stayed one night but our stay there made our trip remarkable specially that we were going to celebrate New Year's Eve at one of the restaurants in the hotel and the whole experience was exceptional and very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone! It is a true example of excellent hospitality. Thanks again to all the hotel staff for taking that little extra step for our family!!!"

"Great stay, good rooms, excellent service. The hotel is very good for the price and bathrooms are adequate. They even provide reusable water bottle & snacks at front desk along with refill stations for still and sparking water. Breakfast options for in-room dining was pricey and selection is small but it did the job. The location is amazing as there's so many food options in walking distance since its situated by the university. Hotel's Blue Ribbon Sushi is also excellent if you want quality sushi."

"I had the pleasure to stay at this hotel for around a week for work. I loved it! Great rooms, service is perfect, the staff is nice and helpful. The location is also perfect. I will definitely be back, I strongly recommend it!"

"The food is the best thing about this place. Our company had a corporate celebration here and the food was AMAZING. There was also a bar and they made great drinks. If you see the pictures, there is so much food. The scallops were my favourite, the steak was okay (wish it was softer and easier to chew), mushroom pasta was SO GOOD, potato, mashed potato, salad, beautiful. The venue was okay honestly. There weren’t great photo taking spots at the actual conference room. Brick wall was nice but not a super pretty background. We had to go out to the lobby Christmas tree."
