"I took my friend to this emergency room because the wait time was atrocious at the other hospitals. She was seen within 15 minutes and they took such good care of her. Our nurse Christie was so friendly, patient, and understanding. My friend was in a lot of and she made sure she felt safe and explained everything. Her x-ray tech Lorrine was gentle and fast. We also had a paramedic in training named Dillon who was super knowledgeable and was there every step of the way. Dr. Slayer’s care team was amazing every step of the way from the time we entered until we left. They were so attentive, kind, and even gave us snacks while waiting. I would recommend this place to everyone if I could. If I’m ever in need this is the place I’m coming to. Plus we were in and out under 3 hours."
"I’ve never been to an emergency room where I was treated like a queen and given medication I desperately needed. I arrived fatigued with horrendous and extremely painful cough hoping to get X-ray. I was on Amoxicillin and Prednisone for six days and getting worse. I registered onsite and was seen right away. Nurse recognized my situation and started fluids immediately after checking vitals. Doctor came in promptly and listened to my heart and lungs. Bloodwork and Xray were done immediately. While receiving 2 bags of fluids, I was given nice warm blanket to keep me comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to hear B-vitamins were added to my fluids. I was in bad shape. My husband was offered hot coffee and water. After test results, Dr. Lowery gave me medicine, discussed bloodwork results and offered caring medical advice. Dr. Lowery and his Nurse are great blessings! Their care and compassion made a painful, but very necessary evening, bearable by sharing fun conversation and a little lighthearted humor. I received exceptional care. I’m truly grateful and proud to have an emergent care facility like no other in our city."
