"We absolutely love Dr Schaack. We lived in McKinney when my oldest child was getting all his cleanings and treatments at McKinney Pediatric Dentistry, so not only were we impressed with the professionalism and genuine care given to us, it was also convenient. After we had our 2 youngest children, we moved to Wylie and it was such a long drive that we attempted to get a new dentist closer to Wylie…Big Mistake. Dr. Schaack truly is very unique and skilled at what he does. We immediately came back to McKinney Pediatric Dentistry and I’m more than happy to make the drive in return for the service Dr. Schaack and his team provide. I wouldn’t trust any other dentist with my children’s teeth and overall health in general."

"They were about gave them fluoridated paste for cleaning my kids teeth. I told them I didn’t want that and it was in their notes too. Despite that I had to then go check for myself before they began. Sure enough they were about to do it. I told them 3 times and still had to police them. This was not to much to ask. Last visit for us. I didn’t want to leave a bad review either"

"Our one year old had his first cleaning at this dentist office. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it. We were cash paying and the cost for a quick cleaning with a standard toothbrush and short talk with the doctor was outrageous. Our entire visit was less than 7 minutes being actually seen by the hygienist and doctor. It seemed like the hygienist or assistant was also very new or just didn’t know what she was doing. They stuck us in a small room that had two chairs in it that was separate from the normal cleaning area and the air conditioning wasn’t working properly in the room so we had to ask for them to open the door since it was the middle of the Texas summer. In all I was just very underwhelmed and felt dismissed and rushed and won’t be going back. The dentist was also pressuring me to use fluoride toothpaste even they I told him I was happy with our Risewell toothpaste that has Hydroxyapatite in it for now and minimizing fluoride. We closely monitor his teeth and if problems arise then we would obviously reassess our fluoride use."
