"Dr Bear and his PA Laura Bell are amazing. There must have been a change in his office staff because the last few times I have been I have had awful experience with them. They are extremely rude and have awful attitudes. I sadly will not be returning."

"If you or a loved one suffers from neurological issues, STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE!! The PA and staff who deal with my issues are great but the office is horrible- all the way down to the building manager. I passed out at the front desk and slammed the back of my head on the floor. Absolutely no one helped me. No ambulance was called and my emergency contacts were not notified as to what happened. I was so disoriented, confused, and scared and they left me to take an Uber home. I wasn’t able to remember my address to get home, so I was dropped off in the area and my husband was able to track my location and pick me up. Over a month later and I’m still suffering from a severe concussion. The office staff was so negligent, they didn’t take a report of what happened until a family member called the next day while I was in the emergency room and it was a report done by word of mouth, not by what was actually witnessed. They lied in my report and said I denied any help- which is insane because I was so out of it. What office allows someone who was knocked out unconscious right in front of them, my glasses flew off my face, and they let me go home alone in an Uber. I could have died and the driver would have no idea what to do or who to contact!!!! No one, including Roxanne, had any concern about what happened. They were more concerned about not having a negative google review. Do better for your patients. This place is crooked. Update: they are further proving their incompetency by addressing me by the wrong pronouns, in a letter saying that they have discharged me. Well, thank you for letting me know. I guess the mild TBI I received must have affected your brains too and you forgot that I already called and let you know I will never return there."

"Amanda and Dr Bear are great! Amanda listens, shows compassion, remembers my medical history and has gotten my migraines with aura controlled with a combination of several medications. On several occasions, Amanda and Dr. Bear have recommended/made referrals to other specialty physicians to assist with my complex medical issues which is much appreciated! Dr Bear also listens, shows empathy and has great bedside manner. I appreciate the geniune care and concern they show me each and every visit and problem solving skills they use to manage my pain."

"Met Dr. Bear once after that only met with his nurse practitioner. Nurse practitioner (Laura Bell) is a great practitioner I enjoyed every visit. The office staff is a nightmare or should I say Dazed and Confused. Always something not right and staff is not friendly. The only reason why I continued going to emerald coast center was because I had such a great nurse practitioner. The lady who is in charge of billing is extremely rude never helpful not only to my wife but myself as well. This has occurred with billing every time I’ve spoke with that department. I’ve found better rated neurologist on google so I’m gone. Dr. Bear was referred by a friend and I’ve been seeing his staff for 2 1/2 years now. I am very disappointed. If you want a pleasant experience don’t deal with his office staff especially the rude lady in billing. I would definitely read the negative reviews because they are all of the same complaints. I will never refer anyone to this Dr. Office again."
