He pursued higher education at the University of Dayton, graduating Magna cum Laude with a degree in chemistry. He earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. His residency in Dermatology was completed at University Hospitals of Cleveland, followed by advanced training in Mohs Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. Henghold's distinguished career includes eight years of honorable service in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, where he achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and held key leadership roles, including Chief of the Department of Medicine at Martin Army Community Hospital and Chief of Dermatology at Tripler Army Medical Center.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Henghold is committed to advancing the field of dermatologic surgery through research, publications, and lectures. He is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology, among other professional affiliations. He holds medical staff privileges at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola and maintains licensure in both Florida and Alabama.
