"I’m 67 and have been suffering from severe, debilitating neck and upper shoulder pain, that was starting to control my life. It was caused from muscular contortions due to arthritis, poor posture and simply how I’m built — lanky, long neck, head forward. I was starting to fear that I was going to be a hunched over old man soon, when most of my life I had been very active and athletic. My sister gave me an hour long massage with Kristen for my 67th birthday. Kristen focused on my neck and back and really worked on the knotted muscles, and for the first time in a very long time, I slept without horrible neck pain, which was causing me to talk strong pain killers. I soon felt good enough to get out and start exercising and working on muscle tone. I felt so much better I went ahead and bought several more massages. I’m doing one a month and I’m staying relatively pain free and am sleeping better. I’m hoping when I done I’ll be able to function without pain or pain killers. Two months have gone by and I’m beginning to forget the pain and live a normal active life. I will say, Kristen really works on your muscles to break up the contortions, and that can hurt a bit until your muscles start to relax, but I left there feeling much better, with no pain, and having hope that I could finally get rid of my neck pain.
