"We enjoyed a lovely weekend at the Pratt Smith house. Ann and Alan were wonderful hosts. Their historic home was full of antiques, needlework, interesting books and even a research paper about Pratt Smith who built the house and ran the farm. Ann is an exceptional baker and we enjoyed the tiramisu brownies she left in our room. Each morning we were treated to coffee, fresh fruit, muffins or pound cake along with a warm egg dish. Everything was delicious and served attractively on the prettiest china. Our meal was made complete by engaging conversation with our hosts. We highly recommend the Pratt Smith house as a great place for a relaxing retreat if you are ever in Utica."

"My first time in a b&b and it was an unforgettable experience. The interiors, vintage looks of the room and house overall is just amazing. Room was very comfortable and clean. They serve breakfast from 7:30- 9:00 am, they ask you what time you'd prefer it and its prepared and setup at the same time you tell them you want it, the breakfast was very filling and delicious, Anne is a really great cook. The best things about the house are the hosts, Anne and Alan are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel like a family member instead of a guest. The warm hospitality, comfortable rooms and satisfying breakfast make it a perfect place if you're a traveller and looking for a reasonably priced accomodation. 10/10 would recommend."
