7-Eleven

"I hope this is the only 7-11 store with such poor service. Unfortunately, it is located in our neighborhood. I have been to many other 7-11 stores, and some of them have made my day with friendly service from nice employees. However, this 7-11 always ruins my day. I don’t know why the employees here always look like they hate when customers enter the store, and they act as if we did something wrong to them. In reality, they are the ones not doing their job properly. I have been overcharged twice because they ignored promotions, even when I showed them the barcode. I didn't go back to ask for a refund because the amount was small, and it wasn't worth the drive. I told myself I would give them more chances because I thought they couldn’t always be like that. What finally made me leave this review is their service. They didn’t replace the empty and dirty sauce bottles at the hotdog bar, even though the employee noticed and gave me sauce packets instead. I'm okay with sauce packets, but why are they keeping dirty items in a food section and ignoring them? Recently, I went to the store to make an iced latte with the machine. During the process, the machine displayed a notice that it was out of low-fat milk and needed a refill. I informed an employee who was right next to me. He just told me it didn’t work and ignored it. A couple of days later, I went to the store again to make an iced latte, only to find both iced brew machines turned off. I'm not sure if they are broken or if the employees are just tired of refilling the milk. I am not expecting them to treat customers like other 7-11 stores, just please fix problems in the store."

"This place will rip you off, deceive you, or skim money from you. One time, I called them out on it, and instead of refunding me the difference, the owner gave me a chicken leg, which I didn’t even want, so I tossed it out. Another time, a guy called them out on it and had an argument with the owner. Today, I noticed they did the same again, so I brought it up to the cashier and he played dumb. Here’s the proof in pictures. Listen, am I gonna go broke over $0.50? No, but they do this constantly and bank on people wanting to come in and out quickly, so they pull this stunt and skim $1 or $2 per purchase, multiply that by the number of people they cheat off of per day, and it adds up. Need to report to BBB. 9/17/23: Went to buy some snacks. Wanted a sprinkles donut, which had price tag of $1.49. When the guy rings me up, it said $1.79. I pointed it out to him and he said he has no control over the register. And then says, “what do you want to do over $0.10?” Ok (1), it’s $0.30 so don’t gaslight me. (2) $0.30 isn’t going to bankrupt me. It’s the fact that they constantly overcharge and then don’t correct/apologize for it. This store overcharge a little on their items and they operate under the fact that people want to come and go quickly, so they’re not going to check. But $0.30 per item, average of 3 purchases item per customer, 250 customers a day is an extra $225/day. 365 days a year is $82,125 extra from skimming off customers. I’m going to continually update this review so long as they continue to skim off customers."

"The owners and the staff of this 7-Eleven commit fraud. They never honor the sign prices. Over charged me for a Big Gulp once and when I showed the sign, The guy took it off and refused to honor the price. He got defensive and told me to take it for free as if I were some beggar so I paid the high price and took my drink. I also got two Ice-Creams from their freezer once where it said 2 for $5 and was being charged the full price. The guy’s response, “Sorry, my system is not working.” I ended up buying just one. I finally confronted them when I went to purchase a Small Slurpee the other night and the night guy at the front attempted to charge me for a Medium. I confronted him and told him to scan my Small Slurpee Cup and that there was a big sign on the Slurpee Machine that said $1 Small Slurpee. He refused to scan my cup at first and kept saying to me next time Slurpee will be free. I stood my ground and refused to pay until he scanned my cup and told him I will leave without taking the Slurpee. He finally scanned the cup and the register then said, $1 Small Slurpee. The guy then said, “Next time I will not scan this.” I will be taking action."

"Got this cola $2.39 on the shelf price tag(even it shows Pepsi 1L ) but they are all $2.39. When I went to cashier, the guy charged me $3.03 per bottle. I asked him why it’s different price. He just said he didn’t know anything. I don’t care about few cents, but I just need an explanation. When you check out, be aware of the receipt. They may scan multiple times for one item. Very unprofessional customer service. First time had a bad experience here. Disappointed. I would definitely not return to this 711."
