Mattydale Shopping Center

"Although there are still some places within this plaza to keep it going, the main retailer has now officially closed. K-Mart has closed its doors for the last time on November 31, 2019. They were selling what they could and when I walked in, almost the entire store was empty. I had taken pictures of what it looked like on the 29th of November of 2019. Great memories as a child shopping here and just seeing this place so empty, made my stomach sink. Too many great retailers are closing its doors and too many memories are the only way to visualize what it was like."

"I love Zebbs and have gone for years. The food is very affordable and a guilty pleasure (Oreo cookie milkshake anyone?). It is great to have some drinks and plates to share with friends and it's also a great place to bring the kids. There is a ton for them to do, and the bright decor and laid back atmosphere makes it easy to have a bite with the kids! Staff has always been very friendly. It is unfortunate but not a shock that KMart is closing it's doors for good (I believe the day after Thanksgiving). That large empty building will be an eyesore. The bars in the center are also quite lively and often have live music."

"A few years back one of our party was happily eating her salad when she pulled the severed finger tip of a latex glove out of her mouth. Called over the waitress who could not have cared less. Eventually spoke with a "Manager" who said we didn't have to pay for the salad. Wow. Really? How considerate. Nobody finished their meal as we were all grossed out by the fact we didn't know where that glove had been, could have been inside a toilet for all we knew. Paid our bill and left never to return. Our habit had been to eat there every month at least 1 or 2 times. Oh well. We spend our money elsewhere now."

"I stopped into Zebb's for dinner, I love the atmosphere there. I ordered the BBQ Pig sandwich (Pulled pork), very delicious. If you like your pulled pork saucy they make it just right and the prices aren't bad either and thick cut fries come with all the sandwiches. My waitress was very friendly and polite. In my opinion the best place to get a burger or even to stop in and get a beer and watch the game on one of their TV's"

"Zebbs is one of my favorite restaurants to go to. The food is delicious and the service is fast and friendly. It's a great place to take the family or to go and relax and have a few drinks while watching a game. And the fresh baked goods are amazing for desert. My kids love the topping bar for their burgers because it gives them so many choices for what they want on their food. If you haven't already gone here I highly recommend you give it a try. And to top it off the prices are affordable"
