"I went to visit my daughter and stepped into a giant gaping hole right at the main entrance. Needless to say my sandals were covered in muddy water. I go back a month later and it's no different. And of course the front door doesn't latch so anyone can just "come on in!" Then...I visit again and the front door is wide open. Anyone can just come on in!! There's no real security. Better have a gun and know how to use it if you want to live here."

"Management is awful. Have lived there for years. Temporary fixes for major water leaks. For months I haven't been able to use my shower. Rarely is the phone answered at the office. I have always made it a point to not call maintenance in for small things and would either live with, or fix myself. It's not a knock on the maintenance crew, they are likely overworked and underpaid. Prices continue to skyrocket. Fees continue to randomly change. One emergency had to be called in. Had no choice and if I do have to call, I do my best to clean up to avoid embarrassment and for the crews sake. This time I could not. Apologized profusely ahead of time and that I'd take care of it before they had to come back the next day. As I work 10-12 hours a day as a single man and have a 6 year old nephew to drive a half hour to right after, so keeping up isn't easy. I come home to a threatening note on my door that couldn't read more rudely. When I call to address this, I'm met with nonsense answers and that the massive water leaks that were to be taken care of today will now be maybe Friday. While it's okay for people to sell drugs out of the buildings or have the entire buildings smelling like weed.. that's okay. They don't care. For someone who has paid rent for 5 years? Naaaah. Based on management alone, I will no longer be renewing my lease and I will no longer feel bad about putting in maintenance requests for EVERYTHING. Place is fine to live, until you need ANYTHING or any understanding of a situation. No shower for ages, half ceiling cut out and left there but better make sure you have every penny of that rent on the first. Heaven forbid you want company. Now, I'll make it a point to put in for maintenance on EVERYTHING until I'm out. Do not waste your money on this overpriced, under managed complex. Go literally anywhere else."

"I don't live here...yet, but Thea was very friendly and helpful. It's pet friendly and the location to shopping is great. **Update** I moved in about 4 months ago, and personally I find it to be a decent place to live. Yes, some people don't clean up after their dogs, but that's not Timber Creeks fault, it's disrespectful tenants. My building doesn't smell, we have a kind woman who cleans the hallways, and she does a decent job, the laundry room is kept clean, and I have found no trash in the hallway. I can't speak for the other buildings, but the one I'm in isn't like some of the reviews have said. Also, I can't say what other apartments are like, but mine was clean, the kitchen/dining area has new floors and I haven't had any issues. My neighbors are all friendly, the building is quiet, and my packages never stollen (I get quite a few). I can't drive because I have epilepsy so the location works great for me. There are people in the reviews complaining about having bugs if you are on the first floor. It's at ground level so it's bound to happen. Buy one of the expandable window screens, put it upright in the window, and problem solved. I'm not saying this place is perfect, but I haven't experienced the problems other tenants complain about."

"I do not know how this place has 3.5 stars tbh. We have been asking for screens for months, getting the run around. The first apartment we were in, we got moved from due to. 1. Drug users below us, property managers "questioned" how i knew what certain things smelled like, there were roaches in the apartment coming through the cracks in the bathroom "tile job".After being moved to a different apartment (we werent even in that first one for a month yet), Ive had to kill several very large spiders and something that looked like a rhino beetle in my current apartment. Water leaked through the light fixture in our bathroom from the unit above us.. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything... and i mean everything. Fridge freezer section leaks, doors dont close properly, cannot close or lock the bathroom door, no safety as the doors are unlocked and or propped open, Mailbox section for our whole floor doesnt open so we dont get mail and neither do our neighbors, we've told them about it several times, nothing has been done. The intercom dosent work, they can buzz us but we cant talk back. The nails or staples they used to secure the carpet are sticking out in certain sections and ive been cut several times from them. Floors are coming up from the grounds, counters arent straight. Not worth the amount you pay for this place at all. Avoid unless desperate."
