"I normally never leave reviews, but I have to. We went to a different hospital to get my son’s blood drawn two days ago, and had to get it drawn again today and decided to come to this hospital instead. They were absolutely amazing!!! Especially compared to the other place. Marlena (I think was her name) was so good up front and knew what she was talking about and doing. Amber, who drew his blood, did so well! My baby slept through the whole thing and didn’t make a peep. She even told me she’s been trying different things to try to make the babies comfortable and not cry… so she’s been really working on make the experience better for the babies. I was so impressed with these two! Good work girls!!"

"The person who drew my blood was really great. However, the reception area didn't have a lot of privacy. At one point, I asked how long the results would take, and a man said pretty loudly across the desk about what blood draw I needed. I didn't want everyone to hear that information, so I'm glad there weren't a lot of people there (at 7am). Also, it would've just been more comfortable to have the option of having a female receptionist looking over the lab request."

"Five stars, plus! I hesitate to share the name of the wonderful woman who does such a great job getting blood out of my arm, always on the first poke and almost painless. I have had a lifetime of bad experiences with the process including five pokes to get in, and once in probing around inside my arm. None of that with Tina. She is amazing. I refuse to let anyone else in Utah Valley touch my arm anymore except her. And the receptionists are always very kind and patient with my many questions and demands that there is only one phlebotomist for me."

"I would give it a zero if i could. A lot of things is a joke here. Receptionist doesn’t know what she is doing and it goes snowballing after that. She get the wrong blood test order, then the phlebotomist keep scraping the hole on my baby heel she poke roughly. Test result should be done in 2 hours but the first time we went there it took forever for them to find it, and at this time because she took the wrong order (she took it from the day before not the order for the day we came in which is not bilirubin but hemoglobin which should not pop up but she dig deeper in to orders- which she should ask us and confirm) of course it goes to the wrong lab. It took our peds to wait forever and we finally figure it out why. So we did not and can not have the result for our peds to review our kid bilirubin which at this point it’s very critical. The lady on the phone that i called to know what is up - customer service - is also making unnecessary sigh annoyed noice when i already frustrated which is extremely not helpful. It’s kinda joke to be there to do the lab test and even to follow up to understand why the delay which is not much to ask. And i will be so mad if they ever bill us for this test we don’t need. We’ll see, it is not the first time they make mistakes."

"I’ve had such positive experiences at this lab. Very nice people at the check-in desk and also in the lab. They made all of my blood draws quick and easy, which was extremely helpful as someone who doesn’t do well with needles."
