"I want to share my experience with the best intentions, in the hopes that this will help the facility improve their performance. My 16 year old daughter had an ultrasound done yesterday. This was a follow up from a previous one done a month ago. In the first ultrasound, the doctor recommended a follow up in 3 to 6 months. When we followed up with our doctor, he recommended to follow up much sooner than that. Which we did. Yesterday, the technician questioned why we came back so soon, and when I tried to explain, she rudely ignored what I was saying, and strictly talked to my daughter. She proceeded to only talk to my underage child. I was going to say something, but I wanted to see how far she would take it. When she came back with the results, she again only addressed my child, and ignored that there was a parent present. At that point, I was beyond upset, and was afraid to be too rude if I said something. Instead, I went to the front desk ladies, They have always been very helpful. I asked them to send me a copy of the results so we can follow up with our doctor again. As somebody who has been a nurse for over 20 years, I have come to truly appreciate caring , respectful, and professional service. I have been a patient of this facility myself and have never had any issues. In recent years however, I have had most of our Imaging care done at Intermountain. I wanted to give this facility an opportunity to provide service, but I will very much hesitate going back."
