About the Business
The CDCA certification program is an initiative by the Ohio Chemical Dependency Board aimed at equipping individuals with the necessary credentials to work in the addictions field. This foundational certification requires 40 hours of specialized chemical dependency education and serves as the first step towards becoming a certified chemical dependency counselor.
2. Building Communities of Recovery & Resiliency (BCORR):
- The BCORR curriculum is designed to empower new board members with the skills and knowledge needed to advocate for expanded treatment, recovery, and support services. This program includes tools for educating legislative bodies, sponsors, and key stakeholders, as well as activities to enhance communication, fundraising, and professional capabilities relevant to board membership.
