Sunset Ridge Apartments

"I’m leaving this review after only living in these apartments for 3 months. Hoping that I’ll save another family from making a decision to live here. I’m devastated my children & I still have to be here till August. It has literally been the worst place I have ever lived at. The office staff is rude or nonresponse when things need to be fixed. The first month living here, my fridge leaked water all over our food making it go bad, the dishwasher leaked water all over the floor every time it was in use, as well as the toilet leaked from the bottom causing the floor to bubble. I called multiple times to have these things fixed & it took them 2 months. Now my water heater is going out & I left them a message 2 weeks ago. Spoke with the manager today & he told me no ticket had been put in. That speaking to the office was “not effective, to go to the website, create an account & put a ticket in yourself”. Even with all that being said, I still feel like I should mention how dirty this place is. You can tell they have painted over animal hair on the walls. The apartment staircase always smells like cigarettes or weed. & the dumpster are always overflowing with garbage. Now for the real kicker, the final straw why I’m leaving this review. They tried to charge me for a Rocky Mountain Power bill from August, when I didn’t move in till the end of the month. Called Rocky Mountain & they advised me it was the apartments responsible. They “lost”one of my payments & charged me late fees with threats of eviction every month on my door. When I have the paystubs to prove it’s been paid & cashed by them. Was told by the front desk my rent is 1500, but the paperwork I’ve signed it’s 1340. Everything about this place just steams scam. Please for the sake of you & your family, do not move in here."

"From the moment I moved in, the management team has been incredibly helpful and responsive. The amenities here are top-notch, with a beautiful pool, well-equipped fitness center, and even a lovely communal garden area. The location is a real plus too – it's close to all the essentials like grocery stores, restaurants, and public transportation. The apartments themselves are spacious and well-maintained, and I've had no issues with noise or disturbances from neighbors. Overall, it's been a wonderful experience living here, and I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone in search of a comfortable and convenient place to call home.""

"DO NOT EVER LIVE HERE. This is THE WORST place I’ve ever lived in my entire life. Our rent was around $900 a month, back in 2019. We have two bedrooms and now the current rent is $1,303. This was supposed to be an affordable place for those in need like my family and I are. This place apparently was supported by the government or something like that. It’s incredible how much the rent has gone up yet we still have the old fridges, old paint, old carpets. The stairs on the buildings are always dirty and there’s bugs everywhere. I feel like they’re overpricing this place for so much, and they offer so little. It’s too expensive for the quality. There’s cheaper places and even bigger. It’s not worth it. Plus the management team are really rude and inconsiderate. Please never live here."

"Terrible place to live. Walls are like paper thin, including the floors. You can literally hear a full on conversation from the people around you. While I was there, the people under us were so loud everyday, they would yell, their kids would be tearing down the apartment and the dog was always barking no matter how much I would call the office to have them stop the dog from barking throughout the entire day. Nothing would get resolved, not even talking to the manager a few times. Not to mention the maintenance crew, they were terrible with their customer service, and the maintenance in my apartment was always needed because they need to upgrade a lot of their appliances and everything else in that place. No a great place to live if you want peace. It’s not meant for people who truly want a quiet neighborhood. Cars get broken into, rocks get thrown at the cars, kids are always running around alone and people are just plain disrespectful around there. It’s not a fun place to live because there are no boundaries for the people living there. The office is not on your side, they just want your money. Not a friendly place at all. Wouldn’t recommend this place."

"Seems like a decent place. The ladies in the office could use a little sweetener in their attitude and could be more cheery but other than that the pools good and the workout center is decent"
