"My daughter was sent home sick from school today so I called for an appointment. Our regular pediatrician was out of office and Dr Derrick had an upcoming appointment in an hour. Great. Not great. We arrived on time, were taken to an exam room after a few minutes in the waiting room, and then sat in the exam room for an hour. No one gave us an update on how long it would be. I had my sick daughter and two younger kids with me. I am flabbergasted at the lack of professionalism and common decency that would allow a patient to wait so long in a non-emergent when they have an appointment. Needless to say we will not be scheduling with this provider again."

"Dr Derrick is the best pediatrician there is!! He takes so much time every visit answering questions. He’s so supportive of all decisions and provides such detailed information about everything. No concern is too little or dismissed. We got so lucky he was the pediatrician doing rounds after our delivery of our daughter! He’s also very funny and his mini ties are hilarious. Don’t even hesitate making him your pediatrician! He’s that great."
