"Very peaceful park to run to if you are looking for some alone time, hidden in a neighborhood, has lots to do or you can just sit and enjoy the nature there are many benches to sit at, playground for the kids and a tennis court. Geese and ducks are a bonus!"
"After doing some moving around on the pond and not getting any bites finally landed in the corner where the channel cat were schooling. They are all small but fun to catch. Bring your kids and some worms and catch some fish. They also have 3 type of sunfish, crappie and bass. Despite everyone saying that it's catch and release I don't know if things changed but the regulations online say otherwise. They are regulated though so read for yourself."
"Braden Park was lovely! Tucked away in a little neighborhood, it is quiet and peaceful. It has nice paved sidewalks and tons of ducks! I have never had so many ducks eat out of my hand before!! They were all very lovely and really enjoyed the Goose and Duck blend food I gave them. The pond seems to be kept very clean which I appreciate, however it would be nice to see parents making sure their children are not harming and terroizing the wildlife. I saw more than one child trying to hurt the geese and ducks while their parents just stood there."
"This park is spacious with lots to do. The park has a tennis court, playground, a splash pad, picnic areas, a large area where a team could practice football or soccer, as well as a little fishing pond with Bench seats and a lot of ducks and geese surrounding it! It is a hidden gem just north of the old route 66 ... love it here"
"We love this place ! We come to walk or just feed geese and ducks. The kids like the playground and there is even enough room for them to fly kites and ride scooters. They have a splash pad in the summer. There are places to bbq and a shelter. There are rarely lots of people there."
