"I called a few companies regarding a pool table that needed to be re-covered. It is located in a business and used almost nightly. We eventually want to get a new one, but are waiting for a while longer. Since our table has so much use, it was in bad shape and needed repairs pretty urgently. Howard was by far the most friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and communicative person I spoke with between at least 3 companies. When they arrived on-site, they showed us that there was additional work needing to be done. I know they are very busy right now, so it was admirable to see a business care so much about their work, that they willingly take on extra tasks to do the job right. prices were incredibly fair for the quality of work. There was no pressure to get the additional work done, and they were very honest about what was most necessary right now and what could wait a little while longer. I know absolutely nothing about pool tables, so I really appreciated having an expert's advice. I feel like some companies take advantage when customers aren't knowledgeable about their trade, but Howard's Billiard Supply genuinely seemed to want to help. They were so honest and so incredibly thoughtful. (things like bringing different colors of blue felt for us to choose from because I wasn't sure what color ours was, or using a different kind of glue for the rails knowing we have some guests who are a bit rough with the pool table, or giving us ideas for future pool tables/equipment.) He fit the extra work in between his already booked-up schedule. This was so nice of him because our guests were anxiously waiting to be able to use the table again. When the repairs were finished, I could not believe the difference!!! I now understand what he was showing me about the rails needing to be re-glued. They are so much better now! He also voluntarily gave me ideas for our new table when we are ready to get one, so I can consider those options until we are ready to buy one. We can't wait to work with Howard again! These guys nailed it and definitely went the extra mile finding any issues that needed to be handled so my table would be as good as new once they left my home. Howard also changed the color of the felt from green to orange to match my Harley Davidson themed home bar.
