"Discovering this clinic has changed my life. These doctors truly are excited to look deep into every aspect of your whole body system health. Two years ago I came to the clinic the first time to see Dr Porter and I was at a loss with my health. All previous doctors said my labs were normal. Have you heard that before? Me too. After just one appointment I left feeling empowered that I could finally find the answers to my questions. He was able to diagnose me and my life has been forever changed and I am the healthiest I’ve ever been. Even today when I was there I overheard a mom and daughter talking about how the doctor they saw did more for them than any doctor ever had before. It truly brought tears to my eyes how much good these doctors are doing for the people who come in. I cannot say enough good about Integrative Medical Associates!!!!"
"Would not recommend. Difficult to make payments with, unresponsive, and overall poor experience on the managerial and logistics side. Incorrectly sent to collections over a small payment which amounted to a very small percentage of what I'd already paid . Now unwilling to see me to perform a check up on the lab tests they ordered me to take. Small and friendly couldn't be the farthest from what I experienced. I've been seeing them for the past year and half. The doctors seems knowledgeable and there were quite a few blood tests ordered that were run with follow up appointments made and paid for. On the last blood test I had to get my blood drawn at another provider to be covered under insurance. The approvals took quite awhile and I never had any follow up with my results when it was complete even though it was sent directly to the requesting doctor. I had to call multiple times and my phone calls and messages were not returned. I waited patiently and tried to call again and leave another message to schedule a follow up. The voicemails and any correspondence seemed to disappear and now of course there are no records of any such conversations. The next correspondence I got was a collection notice that I had not paid my bill. I had paid in full for everything I had done up until this point. I had called multiple times and the receptionist was unable to take payment and transferred me to their billing department where I left multiple messages and could never talk to an actual person. To sum it up, I paid a lot of money, lost contact with them due to their gross negligence, was sent to collections due to them not returning or responding to calls and voicemails. They've now sent a bill for a very small amount to collections with a hundred dollar fee attached that no one would waive or take responsibility for. For the supposedly small, personal, and friendly provider that they claim to be, I found exactly the opposite. They have now banned me from making further appointments and getting the results on the exact blood tests that they ordered me to take and responded that this is their policy "since they are a small provider". This goes against a code of ethics that most doctors wouldn't cross. Withholding labs results and final conclusions, that seems criminal. I'm am now paid in full, left with questions about my results, and it seems nobody wants to take responsibility and provide that "small and friendly service" anymore. Would not recommend and would add advice to make your payment system easy to use and your logistical staff to do their jobs so that people can see the doctors without this weighing on their minds."
"Dr. Harper has been my primary doctor ever since I moved to Utah for school years ago. She is hands down the best doctor I have ever worked with. She helped me during the pandemic with Covid, along with all my other medical needs. She’s very thorough in diagnosing problems which has always made me feel good. I love Integrative Medical so much that even though I have lived in Salt Lake City for 4 years now, I still commute every time because of this staff. Highly recommend!"
"I had a really bad experience here unfortunately. I worked with Millie Harper who was unfriendly and cold. I really felt like I was just a number and after her having 5 kids, I was expecting to feel more compassion from her. I expressed how I have been feeling super off since having my baby. When she went over my blood work, she told me everything that was off in my labs. But because I’m breast feeding, I felt like she basically said (“there’s nothing we can really do for you, here’s a million supplements that are really expensive. Oh and you might have a really serious issue (lime disease or mold poisoning etc, here’s some online tests you can take to figure that out yourself, good luck”). She also recommended multiple supplements that are bad for you while brest feeding. If I didn’t do my own research, she could have hurt my baby making those recommendations. Very negligent in her recommendations, she was too rushed to care or show any compassion. I left feeling over whelmed, feeling like I had no real plan, she didn’t offer me any follow up, it just felt to me like she really didn’t care. When I called the office manager about my experience it took her 3 days to get back to me. I couldn’t speak when she called me, so she told me to call HER back. Sorry but no, I had a bad experience with you guys. I called to give you the opportunity to fix it, I’m not going to force it and keep calling. If I was a priority, they would have given more effort to fix the issues. I felt like this place really didn’t care, I was given no follow up, no game plan to help me, and I definitely don’t recommend this place. I will be getting a second opinion from a place that actually cares."
