"I waited 25 minutes past my appointment time when I was in the office. NP was very good and listed to what I had to say. Staff however, are horrible!! I was treated like a number, left waiting with no communication as to how long of a wait and why the wait was so long. When I did see the NP he explained that they had a patient that needed a little extra time. I wish the staff would have talked to me and others in the waiting room it would of decreased the level of frustration we were all feeling. I’ve been in the medical field for 25 years and if I ever act like the staff at this clinic I hope I would quit. If anyone from the clinic reads this review we are people. People with really problems and painful problems! We are scared for ourselves or our loved ones. Some of us may have lost everything, including our memory, so if we call the clinic more than once please remember that we are human beings not numbers that are there to drive you crazy. As a medical professional you see people at their worst, you are a professional and should be at your professional best and as an employee of Intermountain health care you should be even better than your best."

"Dr. Ziegler was attentive to my needs and extremely patient and caring. He was very thorough and allowed me to share my thoughts and concerns with him. I wasn’t rushed through my appointment and felt like he cared about me like he would to his own friend or family member. Highly recommend him!"

"I have been seeing Dr Zeigler for a few years now and he is amazing! He has been so helpful and encouraging throughout some of my conditions. He is very sincere and honest which has been great. He really takes the time to consider the appropriate plan with medications and further testing. I highly recommend him!"

"Let me start by saying that Dr. Altamirano is a kind doctor that listens and will answer your questions. She is very knowledgeable and will work through your issues. Her office staff however, is HORRENDOUS. They treat patients who come in like they are an annoyance. I was seeing Dr. Altamirano for a mildly serious issue and ended up moving to Idaho. I was needing a refill of my prescriptions and was told after 4 days of trying to contact their office that I needed to come in for an appointment. I drove 7 hours to my appointment (after I had been rescheduled when they called to confirm my appointment. They had it on a completely different day and time. The receptionist was positive that I had it wrong, however, I specifically asked her to repeat the day and time when originally scheduling it...because i have dealt with them many times before, and promptly put it in my phone and on my calendar) and the receptionist called me ten minutes from the office and canceled my appointment. They had no sympathy for my situation, just kept say "oh" like she was surprised I drove all that way when I told them at scheduling 3 times I am coming from a long distance. Ultimately she didn't care and told me that someone would call and reschedule my appointment...even after I told them I live in another state and it takes me an entire day to get there. Someone from their office did call...almost TWO WEEKS later to try and reschedule. I told them it was ridiculous for me to come down there again so I would like to get my records transferred. I asked if they knew of any neurologists in the Boise area and I was told that I would have to find one myself and then tell the new neurologist to request my records, which can only be requested by fax. The staff rarely if EVER answers the phone and they don't return calls. When I have tried to schedule an appointment or have questions they treat me like I just called two minutes ago and they have been "busy," when I have been trying to contact them for a week. Honestly I would rather deal with a severe migraine then have to deal with this staff. They are truly unprofessional. If you are referred here, just know that it will be a nightmare to been seen at that office. It may help to know ahead of time that your experience with the staff will be terrible, but once you get back into the Dr.'s office you will actually get some help. Good Luck!"

"By FAR the worst office staff in medical history. My experience is too much to list here. My husband had a stroke and I have had serious health issues as well so I am pretty well versed on office staff. They are rude, don't return phone calls and don't care even a little bit about the patient. Dr. Ziegler shouldn't even have a licence as far as I am concerned. Dr. A is sweet and seems to know her stuff. If you don't mind a horrendous office staff I would recommend her. However for me, it isn't worth dealing with TERRIBLE service on top of whatever physical ailments are making a neurology appointment necessary. Please take your business elsewhere. Your health is important. You deserve better than this office."
