"**Do not go here** let me preface that my experience was a few years ago and I was too overwhelmed to post then and thought maybe they had changed, but I am shocked to see from reviews that the same stuff is still happening! This just shows that they don’t care if they still haven’t remedied the situation after other’s experiences too. How are they still business?? I don’t want any more vulnerable women/families to have financial strain due to them so I am adding my experience too. At the time I was having blood work done to check on a pregnancy. It was a stressful time, in addition to the pregnancy concerns, we had just moved to the area and were looking for an ob/gyn in the area, so I looked online for somewhere that seemed to be ok. Unfortunately, I had the same experience as others have posted (who knows how many others this has happened to that didn’t say anything earlier like me, I regret that). They billed my labs to a different place that my insurance didn’t cover (not the one they are able to send it to that did) and then blamed me for it. No where did it say they would send the labs there (lab didn’t say anything, I double checked my contract and it said it would send it to either place, not one specific place. The office knew my insurance wasn’t covered at the place they sent it because I had talked to them about it at my first visit which is the same visit I had bloodwork done and that is their job to know and check). I had to pay several hundred dollars more than I should have because of them. This added an unnecessary and big financial strain. I was “lucky” the lab billing office cut me a “deal” on the labs done, but it should have still cost a fraction of what it was if it had been sent to the right place. They prey on the vulnerable. I had had a baby before this experience and been to other doctors offices before and since and never have I experienced the level of incompetence and disregard for something that was their fault. They wouldn’t budge to do anything, even to offer an apology. Sounds like it is still happpening. I immediately transferred offices and never had that problem again. TL;DR Their billing practices are the same as years ago and they will likely cost you more due to either their incompetence or lack of care. Beware **update to respond to owner’s response: I think your response is a slightly nicer demonstration of my experience as I still note no apology or sympathy made, same attitude dealt with years earlier. After discussing at length the issue with your office, my health insurance company, and the lab company billing department that you sent it to which was not covered by my insurance (and was very sympathetic and told me that your business was in the wrong in how this was handled and is also the hospital next door you work with…), and thoroughly scrutinizing the contract I signed which stated where they would be sending my lab work, I believe I was fully aware of your “billing process” and not sure there was much more that could have been done. Maybe offering a number to contact then would have resolved something more if you see any department I missed talk to? This isn’t my first rodeo with medical bills/lab work/etc. I don’t post negative reviews lightly. Maybe just do better so this doesn’t keep happening years later and people won’t need to try to warn others from going here? I will concede that people can change (which is why I delayed the review previously), so if you have changed and I am wrong hopefully new reviews will come it to reflect that, but the past few seem to show otherwise currently……thanks"

"The billing situation is ridiculous! I was charged astronomical amounts because they kept sending my lab work to labs that weren’t covered by my insurance! Do not got here! The people running the office are completely incompetent. My medical bills are insane and I’m fully insured. But they continued to do my labs and send them to places where my insurance wasn’t going to cover me. I’ve called and spoken with there billing staff multiple times to get explanations and no knows!"

"Heather Scott is seriously THE BEST midwife I have ever met in my life. She has helped me birth twins vaginally (thank you for helping me through my panic of me showing up so last minute :D) and another singleton as well. You are honestly the most amazing person I have met in my life and I am so glad that I made the decision to come to your office 4 years ago! I couldn't ask for any better care than what I have received here!"

"Definitely will not return again. I can't help but feel like my concerns keep being pushed under the rug and treated like they don't matter time and time again. Not only in office but at the hospital while I had my daughter. Because I trusted the word of my Dr I now have no feeling in the top of my hand, shooting pain and muscle weakness from an improperly placed IV. But all anyone could tell me was "you're fine". And when I asked first birth control I was pretty much given only one option and one option only and again when I expressed concern it was virtually ignored. I have gone here with all 3 of my kids and the experience I had delivering was each time, horrible. I'm done with doctors thinking they know your body better than you do."

"I have been coming here for the last 6 years and have been treated great by all the staff members! I recently just had a baby and Heather Scott was my doctor, she has been so helpful and caring throughout my entire pregnancy. I felt so comfortable having her as my provider and would definitely recommend Heather to others who plan to come to Rocky Mountain Womens Health! Thank you all for such an amazing experience! :)"
