"Dirty and slow elevators. The more times you visit you notice how you and your child/ren are profiled and stalked and watched awkwardly during your shopping trip. You planned to come here often but decide to step back more and more with each shippoing trip become unpleasant. If you pay attention they never watch the male shoppers as they shop. Please stop being sexist and classist. I think my trips here will become much less frequent as the store and experience is just a bit too worn out and dirty for me. Otherwise the selection is decent and some employee provide better customer service which isn’t so discriminatory, so thank you at least for treating me like the valuable and amazing customers we are!"

"This place is amazing, the amount of groceries on the ground floor never leaves me wanting. The home goods and clothes on the SECOND FLOOR is spectacular. Was able to get EVERYTHING all in one stop. The sales make the prices extremely reasonable THANK YOU."

"Nice large grocery store with ample parking and a wide selection of anything you could want from a grocery store. I’d recommend coming here for all of your basic needs at a good price. The pharmacy is nice and there is no line at checkout so that is good. This is my go to smiths"

"Struggled with what I should rate this smiths. First, they have a pretty great variety of products, but often run out of some top selling items. The store is usually clean, but the one bathroom they have is not. Produce is fresh & well stocked, meat department is fresh, and pharmacy is quick. I'd steer clear of the deli & bakery though. Biggest issue I have is the profiling. I understand I can look a bit scary with my tattoos, piercings, and crazy hair. However, just because I use my own cart I bring doesn't mean I'm stealing. I have spent a few thousand at Smith's this past year, and a majority of it at this downtown location. It's been quite a bit for a single person with one income, but it's because I do most of my shopping exclusively with smiths. I have offered lost prevention to see my receipt a few times without them asking as I was heading out. Last couple times I have been tailed pretty hard. I used to work at Smith's so I get it. I just end up laughing it off when I see the same employee walking down my aisle for the 3rd time or peek down and then turn around. Next time just come shop and chat with me so it's not so awkward. :-) The profiling part is the biggest reason for 3 stars."

"Smiths was the original super Walmart. They got groceries downstairs and a department store upstairs with an escalator to keep the kids entertained. The grocery store is stocked with the normal Kroger items and the department store has the same brands you would find at target and Walmart. Also there's a jewelry store inside as well. I don't know what that's about though."
