"The last few times we have gone, there were no standard checkout lanes open, only self checkout. None have the space to process a full cart, and the computer constantly forces one to 'wait for assistance' as you shuffle things around trying to get room on the bagging scale. Update: This time went mid day on a week day. One staffed checkout open, with a line of folks with full carts waiting 4 deep. No one staffing the meat counter for the half hour we were there, repeatedly ringing the assistance request bell, and a piercing tone ringing throughout the store the entire time we were there."

"According to Google maps Smiths was to be open until 2pm today. I was refused entry at 1:50 by a man and a woman. I said I need one can of something and you’re open til two and the guy said there’s a line (which was a lie as I could see open self checkouts in front of him) and the lady said “go to 7-11”. I’ve always preferred Trader Joe’s and winco for their pricing anyway, but now it will be my personal mission to never shop at a smiths again! To the two that denied me entry: I’m in the service industry, i wouldn’t have kept you there a minute longer than you should’ve been. I guarantee you two were scheduled until 2pm or later, not 1:50. Nothing worse than going to a business and finding they have closed early."

"The smiths on the avenues is actually a little better than other average smiths. They have lot of staff to help and they almost do restocking everyday. I always get what I need, like basic needs (eggs, oil and stuff). The location for this store is right in the middle of avenues, so it’s almost accessible for anyone who lives around the avenues area. The parking here is not hard to get, you can always find a spot at any given time. They have ample amount of parking space for this store. They also sell seasonal food, and the quality for the food here also good."

"Really nice location! The smallest Smith's in the state, an employee once told me when I asked if they had any dairy free Ben & Jerry's ice cream (they do, in the natural foods aisle). This location actually has more gluten free options than the bigger location on 500s, and have added more in the past year, like gluten free chicken nuggets and even gluten free corn dogs. The employees are really nice, especially the older man in the power wheelchair. Issues with product quality and shortages are Kroger & supply chain issues, not this location's fault."
