"The room service is a lie. TLDR: The room service line redirects to the front desk if it's not answered, but unlike most other hotels, the front desk won't take orders when the bar/restaurant is busy. Full Story: The rooms were clean, the shower was hot, but service was awful. Upon check-in, I could see that the bar was full, and the restaurant was somewhat busy, but I was glad to find out that the hotel offered room service, so I wouldn't have to immediately shower and change out of my dirty hiking clothes to go back out for dinner since I had to get to bed pretty early. After getting some work done, I scanned the QR code, but the dinner menu linked to the kid’s menu instead, so I couldn't see the dinner options. I called the room service line and after 4 or 5 rings it looped back to the hotel's mainline, played their greeting, and then rang through to the front desk. The same clerk who checked me in and told me about room service said that the bartender was probably busy and transferred me back to room service, with the predictable result of looping me back to the front desk again, who greeted me with the exact same statement about them probably being busy as if I hadn't just talked to them a minute earlier. Again, it rang through and again I was redirected to the front desk, who for a third time gave me the exact same line as if we hadn't gone through this twice already and then tried to put me back into the loop for a 4th time. Based on the clear pattern I was ready to give-up and go out so, I finally said "If you're too busy to take room service orders, maybe don't tell guests you offer room service." They again reiterated the same script about the bartender probably being busy. As began to explain that I understood they were busy and that the bartender clearly wouldn't be able to take my order, they interrupted me and finally offered to take the order. At this point I apologized for my frustration and for what I was about to ask and told them that the link in the QR code menu was showing me the kid's menu instead of the dinner menu. They then proceeded to read me the kid's menu. When I explained again that I needed the dinner menu, they told me to go downstairs to the packed bar and order in-person. Frustrated that this person clearly didn't care, and wasn't listening, I gave up on the food, deciding to get by on leftovers from lunch since it was too late to go back out, and I simply ordered two drinks. I knew they were busy, so I gave it over an hour before calling back down to get an ETA on my two drinks. They simply said they'd check on it then hung-up. A few minutes later, someone who I hadn't spoken to yet showed up with a third person hovering nearby. They apologized for the wait and were very polite, but they were clearly nervous. So, now I'm feeling like the front desk told them something about me that made them feel unsafe, despite my doing my best to remain polite throughout, and never once raising my voice."

"The moment we checked in the staff was amazing. From the front desk, kitchen staff, waiting staff, cleaning, and even maintenance, this hotel has hired the best. They are what makes this hotel worth the stay. The beds are harder than normal, and we did have an issue with our door bolts being loose, but the maintenance guy fixed the door issue right away. They go above and beyond, and treat guests like family. Sheri was amazing in the restaurant. We had the best stay. We stayed in room 232. If you have back issues let them know when reserving, they may have a better bed available. I will return for the staff! The breakfast buffet is worth the money. Great food!"

"After long hours of figuring out which hotel to book to attend an Army BCT graduation, I ended up choosing Hilton Garden Inn Lawton-Fort Sill. I booked this reservation online and had no issues when I did this. When my flight was delayed, I made sure to call the front desk to let them know that I was arriving late (be sure to give an estimated time or say "after 11pm" or something along those lines). I stayed in room 350 which was the second to last corner room on the third floor. And to be completely honest, the room was okay. The bath tub wasn't draining fast enough when I was showering so I had to stop the water midway to let it drain and then continued doing what I was doing. The place is clean, but not sparkling clean. I noticed that they didn't wipe down the bathroom sink from the previous person who stayed in that room as there was still a clear plastic shaver covering (you know those see-through clear ones) and the sink handle had water stain marks on them. They also did not refill the shampoo/conditioner/body wash bottles which was a bit of a disappointment. This stay was decent for the short stay. Some things to note: 1. Be sure to book ahead of time. When there's an Army BCT graduation, rooms are almost always all booked so you'd have to look for another hotel. 2. They will clean and tidy up your room every other day of your stay. 3. No complimentary breakfast. 4. Free/complimentary parking. 5. Working fitness center/gym. 6. Pool was closed when I went. 7. Front desk and community area was clean. I just wanted to give a huge shout out to the guy who worked the night shift at the front desk from 1/19 into 1/20. Your customer service and friendliness honestly made me happy when I checked out of my hotel stay today. Shout out to you!"

"This hotel was our home away from home!This area is much better than the rest of the city! We did not like going anywhere more than a block away, but we felt safe and cared for here. The room was super clean and comfortable. The staff was kind, friendly and accommodating. The coffee and hotel food was excellent, and they even offered a breakfast buffet for a very reasonable price! There's a great restaurant nextdoor and a coffee shop a block away, too!"

"We went to visit our son who is at Cameron University and this hotel was just fantastic! Open, warm, welcoming, and the rooms were incredibly spacious and clean/comfortable. It was super close to not only the university, but walking distance to a few great restaurants, shops, etc. I will definitely stay here again! Also, my husband used the gym daily and said it was really good for a hotel."
