"Arbitrary rules create poor customer service - easy as that. Had a shirt with tags, unworn but I lost the gift receipt. I read their online gift return policy and it states: “For requests for gift returns without a valid gift receipt, we offer store merchandise credit reflective of the current selling price at our discretion.” I probably wouldn’t have got as much for the shirt when it was bought, that’s fine, my fault for losing receipt. But I just wanted to make an exchange for different color. I probably would have bought a few things while I was there too! But I was turned away because they wouldn’t exchange my shirt. Oh well, they lose my business and I’ll give the shirt to goodwill."

"Beware of this store! After one wearing, my jeans developed a pulled thread in the middle of the thigh. Not a huge deal except this store would not exchange without the paper receipt. I, of course, did not keep the receipt on a pair of jeans. I would not buy anything from this store that I would expect to last."

"They didn't open on time, because the staff didn't show up. One lady at the store was great and helpful, but the male cashier was rude and not interested at all, even after we spent almost $500... No thank you, see you, happy new year, ... he just turned around and ignored us. If I would be the manager, he would be fired! Not acceptable!"

"Susan W. wow talk about passive aggressiveness and a great way to ruin my experience at Lucky's, which up until today has been fine...I found 3 pairs of jeans all on the clearance rack, I even confirmed with one male worker (he was nice) that they were in fact on sale for the price stated... I tried them on then went to check out. Susan seemed knowledgeable about their clothing scanned the first pair of jeans and stated they were in fact not on sale somehow ended up in sale rack. OK, bummer that happens. The next 2 she scanned she began to get upset, these are not on sale either. OK.... Odd luck I seem to have, out of tons of jeans on the sale rack, I somehow pick the 3 that were misplaced? That is not here nor there but seemed very odd. ... I was thinking about just cutting my losses and leaving, but she quickly shook her head and honored the rate. OK great, that seems fair and appreciated... but than you could tell she did not want to do this and it began to quickly show, she mentioned under her breath how she would get in trouble for this.... OK. . should I be apologizing at this point? I am not sure what to do or say. I didn't ask her to honor the price I would have been fine with walking out of Lucky's. I started to feel uncomfortable from the anger radiating from her - You should NOT pass that type of negative reaction on to the consumer. This is what drives your income. I felt VERY awkward during the rest of our interaction of her angrily bagging my jeans and pretending to be fine with giving me the sale price.... How awkward, I will not be returning solely based on that interaction."
