"Guys were friendly enough at the desk, but they made a mistake and then ended up charging ME for it. I was sent to get a specific type of product, but their guys mistakenly gave me the wrong size, unbeknownst to me. My crew complained about the wrong size, but said they would make it work. Then I got a call the next day from Whitecap saying the product they mistakenly gave me actually cost more money, and that I needed to pay for that. I explained that if it was their mistake then they should cover the additional cost. He said no. After a little back and forth I agreed to pay the extra cost. It wasn’t a ton more…but the principle of the whole thing rubbed me the wrong way. That’s customer service 101."
