"The service kinda sucks but good deals on a lot of supplies. Trex deck board $8.00 the box stores $96.00 - $112.00. Saved a little!"
"I came by last week and picked out some lumber for a project. I asked him about the rules for returns & they said they have a restocking fee for returns. When I had second thoughts about buying the product I called them a couple of days later and they said I had 10 days to do a return on my products. The next week my project had some overruns so I canceled my order and and asked them to put the money back on my card and they reneged on everything they said and told me last week. They basically told me to check the fine print on the receipt because they don't do refunds when they told me to my face that they did. This slick little bate & switch with the customer is not good business practices. They operate like a sleazy Little fly by night company. I would not recommend "Extra Building Materials Inc to anyone I know because they are a very unscrupulous, underhanded group of people. That's why I'm doing this review. I spoke with my credit card company and they said Disputes on a credit card take 3 months to investigate so now my money is tied up for 3 months. Don't do business with companies that lie about their policies. You've been warned!"
"You get excellent products at an affordable price. By products, I mean new baseboards, used and new doors (interior or exterior), used and new bifold doors, used vanities, and you name it."
"Be ready to hunt and pick on your own, somewhere there's a service person, but probably you'll have to self-help your way through the stacks 'n racks on your own. Very few things are clearly priced which means they're expecting a little negotiation. Quality stuff though, expansive warehouse."
"I'm sure there are some good deals, however the some areas are way to packed with stuff to truly see what you are looking at. No one greeted me or offered any form of help navigating the store, however there was a a group of employees or some employees with some friends i don't know, but they were only concerned with hanging out. That said ended up buying from a big box store as the offering and pricing was about $75.00 more, but no scratch and dent possibilities."
