"Tina in the inner office was great and responsive. Once that I decided to purchase over $60k worth of Lumber for my home, my sales rep wouldn't answer his phone. I had terrible experience with missed takeoff times, mis delivered items to my job intended for another job, and many items told were delivered but were not. Anyone building a home should not have the stress of managing the $ of items they should not have been delivered sitting on the ground, over ordered due to bad take-off, late or 2 day later delivery due to drivers shortages...etc... Worst experience in the 50+ homes I have built and no one but the inner office person cared IMO. I would NEVER use them again unless they were 20% less and I was there physically for every delivery and return. It has been very stressful."

Nate remembers my name when I order on the phone. They guys in the yard are helpful with loading the lumber onto my truck (but not anymore because I've realized that their delivery fees are cheap). "It has been a pleasure working with Alpine Lumber! Tina was so helpful over the phone. She promptly answered the phone every time I called. She easily quoted me prices for our lumber needs and she offered to email me the bid. I talked to 6 different lumber companies that day, and Tina was the most professional, prompt, friendly and competent of them all! She was knowledgeable of her products and has notable integrity. I explained our lumber was to be used for a basement finish. As she was looking up the products I asked for, she advised me to go with a 'borate' treated board to save money because the lumber was being used for a basement, we didn't need the more expensive treated boards. WOW! We also worked with John in the delivery department who was equally helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with as Tina. We requested a forklift delivery, hoping to have the lumber dropped in a specific place on our property. John was more than willing to accommodate our request. He made the appropriate arrangements and communicated with the driver. When the lumber arrived, the driver, Jericho, was friendly, punctual, and willing to drop the lumber where we requested. He was extremely skilled in operating the fork lift and successfully placed the lumber exactly where we needed it. It would have been much easier and quicker to drop the lumber in our front driveway, but the entire Alpine team was more committed to our satisfaction and needs, than in what the 'easy' or 'cheap' thing would have been. The lumber itself looks great! It's clean, straight, well organized, and our order was accurate. Alpine's prices are competitive, and well worth products received. I recommend everyone to use Alpine Lumber for any lumber needs. The entire Alpine team is stellar! We certainly will be using Alpine Lumber for our future projects.
