"We liked our stay, for the most part, until the cockroaches! That's when we packed up and moved in the middle of the night. The hotel refunded that nights booking but refused to offer anything else. They wouldn't even allow us to leave our stuff overnight to make it easier or so we could bomb the room. They also wouldn't have the exterminator come with our things in the room."

"Amy you're awesome and this isn't anything against you. It's the Manager who was rude and hung up on me about a charge and didnt get any assistance from him so I had to call corporate. The experience was fine. The room as soon as you walk in smelled like cigarettes, thermostat worked but was held on by tape and didn't have any hangers. But I wouldn't come back to this location unless they fired the manager."

"Washer stained all my clothes Dryer made all my clothes sticky and humid Cable don't work Got kicked out cause there was an argument with another guest when both guest should have been kicked out. Was charged 20 for a towel and bath mat with out being informed then had to talk to someone and get that taken off. Towels aren't new so guests shouldn't be charged Got food poisoning from their sausage my husband me and my children on top of that there were guests walking around dressed inappropriately around my kids definitely rating one star and was planning on staying long term my family was there 2 weeks. And they still never refunded our money the deposit of 100 and the 2 week stay 900 and still haven't received our money."

"My family and I stayed at the Comfort Suites Longmont Firestone to attend an event in Boulder, which turned out to be an easy, beautiful 35-minute drive. On the plus side, the lobby was bright and clean. All of the staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating. Breakfast was fairly decent, although the biscuits and gravy were bland (thick, flavorless gravy), and the eggs were sort of a scrambled egg cake. However, the sausage, pastries, waffles, coffee, etc., were tasty. On the unfavorable side, although the fridge was larger than most hotel fridges, one of the adjustable feet was broken off, making the fridge wobbly and uneven. (I stuck some cardboard under there to level it up…) Additionally, the bottom of the fridge cabinet was broken, and a piece kept falling off whenever I opened the fridge door. The AC never really got cold, even though it ran constantly. There were old nail holes in the bathroom walls, mildew on the bathroom ceiling, and rust on the bathroom door frame. The floor was also dirty when we arrived, and the shower pressure was on the low side. The single kleenex box was nearly empty when we got there, and without an extra one provided in the storage space where towels are kept, I had to schlep down to the front desk to ask for more. The shabbiest thing about the room was the funky, musty smell in the closet, presumably from someone leaving water in the iron, and housekeeping neglecting to empty it. The odor was so strong I thought it would make my clothing smell bad. Another minor but annoying thing was that the key cards kept becoming deactivated in my wallet. Granted, my magnetic money clip was probably the culprit, but I’ve not had this issue with other digital hotel keys, and of course none of my magnetic-strip credit cards are ever affected by this. Finally on a positive note, we sincerely appreciated the location – near Longmont, close to I-25 (but not too close), and near many fast-food restaurants. The highlight, however, was the pool and hot tub. Our kids love swimming, and we never book a hotel that doesn’t have a pool. They were not disappointed, and our 9 year-old even raved, “I’d give this hotel five stars!” The water temperature in both the pool and hot tub were perfect, although they both had an oily ring above the water line. (Pool areas should always include showers, but that’s another story…) Overall, we would probably stay here again as long as the price was reasonable."
