"Gross! Walked in and saw stains all over the sheets. The heat would not work in two different rooms. The water heater was broken, the restaurant was closed, only one towel, and half a roll of toilet paper. This was worse than the Bates Motel, at least it was clean and warm."
"We needed a pet friendly room and I got this place confused with the Burlington Stay Inn that we had been to before and had a good experience. I booked online and realized when we arrived we were at the wrong place. At 7:30p the front desk lady looked like she crawled out of bed, not fully clothed. We walked into the room, which wasn't locked, took one look around, turned around and walked out! (I don't think the door locked at all). I'm not real picky about rooms if they allow pets, but this place is scary! I blame myself for not reading the other bad reviews, I would have known it wasn't the right place. We went another 1/2 block and found the right place and stayed at the STAY Inn."
"Terrible experience. Had a reservation on 10/26. Arrived at 11pm, checked in and was given a key. Went to the room and pushed open the unlocked door to find people sleeping in the room. A strong smell of pot was prevalent. We are now fighting with Marla, the "manager," about the refund she promised us. Highly recommend the Chapparel or Econo Lodge in Burlington as alternatives to this crack house. Only giving one star because negative numbers aren't available."
"DO NOT STAY HERE! I was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned in between stays.. someone’s clothes still inside, bugs all over the room, trash and dirty tampons spread throughout the room, the sheets & bed pulled completely apart - just overall DISGUSTING. When I talked to the lady at the desk about the state that the room was in she didn’t even apologize or show any sort of concern, she took the key back, handed me a new one then shrugged it off. I was so uncomfortable with the situation I decided against staying there & she refused to refund me. Absolutely do not stay here."
"This is a great place to stay for the price. The staff is very friendly and they will definitely take care of you. The only complaint I have is that it is hard to get a hot shower because it only seems to get warm maybe 2-3 times a week."
