"A great option when traveling on a budget. Everyone was awesome and the vibe was very chill. The hot tub was great, and it was particularly clean (which I really appreciate). The common areas were great, and our room was very clean. However, it was very poorly lit, and the door to the bathroom was broken (and hard to use at all). I liked the hanging tree, but I would have appreciated more hooks in more places around the room (especially the bathroom) a little decoration on the walls, and more than just 1 pillow to sleep with. I was too tired, and having too much fun hanging out most of the time, to care that much or say anything about it. I'm sure they would have tried to fix the door and would have given us a few more pillows if I asked. The staff was super friendly and was very quick to help in any way they could with anything at all."

"The Pad is a great addition to Summit County. It brings affordable, clean, and community together in lodging. The staff were helpful and warm and room great. My two points to keep in mind is that the hostel was not built with enough parking. If you are an unfortunate later arrival, expect a trek to and from your car. On a beautiful night, the walk may be welcoming. On a long day of travel in a snow storm, this trek will have you cursing why you ever chose The Pod. I highly encourage you to check in early and not move your car, if you don’t want a 5-10 min walk to and from your car. My other point is while they offer complimentary coffee and tea, thank you Pad, they don’t have to go cups. Remember to bring your own, if you want to take advantage of this. Otherwise, enjoy!"

"I recently spent 4 nights at The Pad and could not leave a better review. Facilities and rooms were very clean and well organized. I was traveling alone for the first time and The Pad could not have made it any more enjoyable. The evening activities around the bar create a great environment to meet new people. Lastly, the bartender Jess was amazing and super cool. Can't wait to be back!"

"This place is really cute and I love that it's set up very European. The room is perfect for a weekend getaway to the mountains to ski or snowboard at Breckenridge or Keystone. I love that they have fun activities planned at the hotel daily. Even yoga in the morning. The rooftop hot tub view of rainbow Park, the mountains and river which is absolutely gorgeous. There's also different rooms filled with board games and books upstairs and downstairs. I went on National Women's Day weekend so they had a band playing on Friday. They have an open bar with happy hour. You could probably stay in the hotel the entire weekend if you wanted to. They also have a ton of restaurants within walking distance. They don't have complimentary breakfast but Starbucks and other local coffee shops are also walking distance. Parking is hard and first come first serve but there is a parking garage down the road as well. Definitely will be coming back."

"I really didn’t know what to expect when I booked my room at The Pad. I had booked a last-minute ski trip and thought I would give it a try. Wow, what a pleasant surprise. All the staff were very helpful and nice. It was such a vibrant atmosphere on Friday evening when I walked in after skiing. What a great vibe. The room was clean and nice - exactly what I needed for this trip. The only small issue I have is the parking situation. There just isn’t sufficient parking when at capacity and overflow is a distance away."
