"I’ve RVd for 30 years and will say this is the nicest park I’ve been in. Despite the fact that the Animas Valley of Durango, Colorado is beautiful, the park itself is great. We spent the winter here and because of my health situation the staff pitched in to help us. They took our propane tanks and filled them up because I couldn’t lift them because of spine surgery. We think of all of them as family. Thank you to all of them. You should stay here."
"We stayed at the Alpen Rose RV Park for our Christmas vacation. It was by far the best RV park around! The park Hosts, Kenzie and Chris, were amazing! They’re the best park hosts we’ve ever seen. So polite and friendly and helpful. Amazing folks! Thank you both for making our Christmas vacation such a memorable trip! Plus the 2 acre dog park was terrific!"
"Wanted to stay here based on the ratings, but the inflexible attitude of management made it seem like college dorm rules from the sixties. All other parks we have stayed in will post your parking spot at the office if you arrive when they are closed. Road conditions and traffic can hold you up, but management was completely inflexible."
"What we loved when we visited: 1. The sun setting on the cliffs was pretty 2. Hot water showers 3. Doggy wash with built in shampoo hose and dryer! 4. Easy access to hiking trails close by! 5. Close to the hot springs and close to Durango! Thank you:)"
