"Great house for multiple families! Lots of room to spread out."

"The Tall Spruce House is a nice large house that can accommodate large groups of people. The rules of the house are a bit odd but make sense given the difficulty of cleaning and maintaining such a large house between guests. We had a few issues with the house. The first being the Wi-Fi. There was information about the Wi-Fi in the kitchen however when you searched for it, you couldn't find it and the password provided didn't work for anything in range. The management did finally provide the correct information, but once we got connected it only worked for a single day and it was only a 2G connection... which is pathetic. The next issue was the upstairs toilets. When you would try to flush the water would barely trickle into the bowl enough to evacuate the contents. The upstairs toilets definitely need replaced with some higher flow flushers. Finally, I agree with several other reviewers here that the house did get overly warm. Part of this was due to the floor heat being on when we arrived and not knowing about it. With so many thermostats in the house there should be a map showing where each one is and what they are intended to control. Overall the house met our needs for the time we stayed there, and it was somewhat comfortable. I've definitely stayed in worse accommodations, but there are also far better for the price. If you plan to stay here make sure to get a thorough explanation of the property at check-in and ask all the questions!"

"What a disappointment!!!! The house is beautiful but the rules that they have it’s not worth staying. It sleeps 25 however not too comfortable. The twin beds that apparently converted into a king bed were uneven. We might as well slept on the floor. The window mechanism was broken and they assumed we had taken off the screen to smoke.. what a shame judging without knowing. The house would get very hot at night and we had to somehow open the window.. the screen was just removed for ventilation but we did not brake it. They also accused us of broken pots that we didn’t even use, they charged an arm and a leg for cleaning fee and they had the audacity to tell us they we left empty water bottles and cloth tags on the floor .. really ??? So what is the cleaning crew for? Please I personally checked myself the entire house and didn’t see that…. I can write and entire dissertation here but what for … they kept our $600 deposit … please be aware when you rent this beautiful home!! You just can’t have fun it seems like it !! Oh on anther note it has WHITE CARPET … really?? It had some old stains and they blamed it on us … never again !!"

"Great place if you want poison ivy and people arriving daily to check up on you. Of the 4 days we spent there, 3 days we had folks stopping by, taking pictures from the street. No food or drinks allowed in the tv billard room ..no movie night with popcorn.. paid over $4000.00 For 4 nights...not worth the price ! hot tub scalding hot, took 3 nights to cool enough to use."

"Just stayed with our family for New Years. The home was so accommodating to everyone and everything we could possibly need. It was very clean and taken care of. We enjoyed our stay very much."
