"A hidden gem! Located in the beautiful San Juan Mtns. Golf course /pro shop, gym/spa, 1 casual & 2 upscale restaurants on site. You're close to Purgatory Ski Resort, mountain biking, horse back riding, peak bagging, rafting, etc. At the end of a busy day come home to the mountain modern architecture of Tamarron / Glacier Club. Lovely staff. I've lived here for 1.5 yrs now & it's like living in paradise!"
"Removing all the amenities I used to like, like the shuttle to purgatory. The lady at the front desk was lazy and did not have any customer service skills at all. Sodas in the machines were 6 months out of date."
"I have stayed for 1 month in winter on 2 occassions and unfortunately would encourage you to go elsewhere. This place is conveniently located, and I would say the spa/gym staff is wonderful, however the lodge and restaurant staff is consistently below the worst I've encountered. I don't believe they have any staff that lasts longer than a month or so. Very unhelpful, never willing to lift a finger to find basic information, or convenience you an anyway. Examples include asking to check in 30 min early, requesting an extra cleaning supply from cleaning (nope) and calling maintenance for their monthly schedule after some important journals and wedding ring fell down the elevator shift. Nope! No one cares here. Good luck! I would add there are some very strong chemical cleaning fumes that come from the north end of the building, not a huge deal for most but I tried doing some work and the common tables/coaches for a few hours and needed my asthma inhaler afterwards. They were the same the following season."
"Great place. We rented a cabin condo, in the Pine Cone area of the lodge. The cabin was in a very nice area. It had a great patio and I've never seen so many hummingbirds, they were all over the place. It's about 15 to 20 minutes north of Durango. Highly recommend this place for your Durango vacation.."
"Nice resort, you are surrounded by the San Juan mountains, the indoor pool is nice, a big gym. Staff is friendly. Great views, a golf course all around the resort. The only thing missing was a connection to a hiking trail."
