"The property was nice and it was quiet. The staff was exceptional. The rooms were fine but they're undergoing renovation in April of 2024"

"We had a great stay at Club Wyndham Durango! The layout is kind of odd, since the building is squeezed onto a tiny bit of land. The units are kind of pie-shaped. The main room was smallish but had a sofa, chair, table, and full-sized kitchen appliances. The bedroom was a good size and had the most comfortable mattress and pillows. Between all the fresh air from skiing and the comfortable bed, I had a week of better sleep than I've had in a long time. The kitchen was handy for quick breakfasts and making sandwiches before heading to Purgatory. We fixed dinner a couple of nights and went out to eat a couple of nights. It was great having that option. The front desk people all were extremely friendly and helpful, and the hot tubs on the roof were a welcome way to relax our tired muscles. Add to that the location, which can't be beat, and Club Wyndham Durango was the ideal choice for our vacation."

"My new wife and I spent our honeymoon here to get away from the hussle and bussle of the big city of Texas. This establishment is nestled right in downtown Durango, walking distance to shops, restaurants and activities of all kinds! The hotel staff is extremely polite and accommodating making sure to welcome us for our honeymoon! So glad we picked this destination and location which is a gem to be kept secret!"

"When I booked this room, I didn't realize it was a timeshare. So, I was expecting more of a hotel experience. But, it turned out to be a great place to stay. I'm glad that I chose this place. One thing you should know before booking is that there is a fee for parking. I don't remember exactly how much but it's something like $15 a day to use the parking lot. Which, I really don't think is necessary. It's kind of like a hidden fee. So, my advice to Wyndham would be up the rates and drop the parking fee. It feels pretty deceptive to charge for parking. That said, I'm going to go ahead with five stars on this because the rooms were so nice, and the people were too. They were so helpful. And, fresh cookies in the lobby everyday. Oh man that I love those fresh cookies! And, they are practically sitting in the train yard. If you're going to ride the train, this is a really fun place to stay. In addition, they have all kinds of other amenities, like foosball and pool. All in all, good outweighed the surprise extra cost, so again, five stars."

"This place desperately needs renovation. And thabk goodness they have plans to do so in April 2024. When the HVAC kicks in, some of the ceiling tiles get sucked up near the bathroom mirror. The separation between tile and carpet through the room is odd and there is a significant drop between the two. The fan controls in the rooms don't always work properly, the layout of the rooms can be awkward, and the fan in the bathroom can be very noisy. As far as location is concerned, the views of the mountains are decent, but our one window faced the parking lot. You get a lot of automotive noise and whatnot, so the atmosphere isn't fantastic. But the proximity to downtown is superb, and you can walk to a ton of great stores and restaurants. Finally, the staff was phenomenal. Alex, one of the ladies we befriended, was exceptionally pleasant to talk to, gave us tons of local recommendations, and was very accommodating. She made the stay so much better, and we wish her well."
