"Beware. I booked a private room for two and later asked if they could switch payment from my credit card to the card belonging to the other person on the reservations because he was still going to stay and was willing to pay. They refused and are charging him again for the same reservation and only offering me a credit for future use. Poor guest service and very disappointed."

"Amazing place to get away from all the hustle and bustle of life. Not only is the lodge extremely luxurious when compared to other lodging options in the area but the views are world class. The staff was super friendly and the meals were soooo tasty. In addition to the stellar accommodations, the location provides access to some of the best backcountry skiing, climbing, and hiking in the USA. After one stay at the red mountain lodge, I have no doubt that it will be going back for many years to come. I would highly recommend a stay at the Red Mountain Lodge."

"I have already recommended the lodge to all of my friends who ski or just love the mountains. I was there a month ago, and I don't think there has been a day since when I haven't thought about it. I agree with the glowing reviews here. Ditto. I want to highlight a few other things. First, I had never skied in the backcountry. And I am not a great skier. I was a bit nervous, but I shouldn't have been. The guides were amazing! They take the time to know you and help you. And with smiles and warmth. They are happy people who are highly competent. And if you don't ski, you can snowshoe, ice climb, or just relax with a book or game. Second, all the team members at the lodge are a pleasure to be with. They are "can-do" people who are also joyful. Third, the space is amazing. It has this beautiful mix of feeling awe inspiring and special, while at the same time feeling comfortable and cozy. You are both inspired by the grandeur and beauty of the lodge and mountains, while also feeling completely at home. This is an incredible place. And I will definitely be returning!"

"Magical! Recently did a 3 day, 2 night ski holiday based out of the Red Mountain Lodge. The accommodations are top-notch and Caroline is a wonderful human being. She cooked incredible food and made me feel so welcome despite traveling solo. The skiing out of the lodge is world class. Will absolutely return!"

"I cannot say enough about how great an experience staying with Red Mountain Alpine Lodge is! This trip has become an annual event for us. The hospitality that Andrea, Aaron, and everyone at the lodge provide is second to none! Great people, food, lodging, and adventures! The terrain and snow are amazing and being able to ski with Keith, Mason, Andrew, and Pat from San Juan Mountain Guides was amazing!
