"Idk who made the decision to close the self checkouts but the lines are preposterous. No express checkout either. The old man who attends the doors treats everyone like criminals and will make a scene if you need to look like for your receipt. Clearly management has chosen to prioritize loss prevention over any sort of welcoming customer experience and it feels like going through TSA."

"Update 2/27/24 - Lines are less frequent and shorter. Cashiers seem quicker. So far it seems they are putting in effort to a good transition away from self-checkout. I hope the trend continues. Used to be just fine, and the nicer Walmart in Longmont. Since they stopped doing self-checkout it has been terrible. Never enough cashiers, always long lines, always slow. I have mostly stopped shopping here because of this. I understand theft was high with self-checkout, but if they close it they should hire more cashiers."

"Above average Walmart location. They recently shifted from having zero cashiers and forcing everyone to use self-checkout to having all their self-checkout lanes closed and forcing everyone to use cashiers. I don't know why they can't keep a few lanes open and then restrict self-checkout to 15 or fewer items. They have good produce and fair prices on their fresh foods. Large selection of ingredients catering to multiple cuisines with an emphasis on Hispanic and Latin foods. They have enough staff to keep lines short and carts put away. Their pharmacy tends to be faster and friendlier than other nearby pharmacies."

"Instead of having someone manage self check out…. Self check out is now closed (waist of space) and they pay someone to point out which line to wait in for an employee check out. Aisle are also full of carts of items for employees to stock but you rarely see an employee stocking the shelves and getting the large carts taking up half the aisles out of the way. So good luck navigating aisles that are half blocked by either the stock carts or families of 5+ who don’t pay attention to other people trying to get by."

"9-28-2023 Thursday mid morning. Not very busy today. Even if it was, you would not be able to tell, because this might be the largest Walmart on earth. You could get lost in this place. We had no problem finding what was on our list. Just a note: those little four ounce fruit pies are delicious."
