"- Not what I asked for - Was not liked by others - Churn and burn customer experience - No military discount - Overpriced Frankly, the experience is deserving of 3 stars, rather than 1. I took off an additional star because of the premium price that Kingsmen charges for nothing more than a BASIC haircut. First, my haircut was not bad, and the barber was friendly. However, the style was almost nothing like the image I showed the barber. The sides were too high initially, and each time I thought he went in to blend, he just kept taking off more. Even after I calmly mentioned that it seemed pretty high as it was. Moreover, I was getting the haircut for my 40th birthday party. The result was mediocre at best, didn't match the style I asked for, and didn't resemble my normal cut. When I asked if he could just straighten up my beard (something that other barbers have done in literally 1 to 2 minutes), he said he had another client and could not. I'm a veteran, so I'm not super picky about my hair. As long as it isn't completely messed up and the women in my life like it, I'm ok. Unfortunately, it was not appreciated by either my girlfriend or my daughter. In my humble opinion, if you want to charge premium prices, you need to provide a premium experience. When you fall short, it is difficult to overlook."
"Update: went back per communication with Jason. Liz did a great job blending out their cuts. Updated to 5 stars as they did go above and beyond in customer service to make it right. Original: My husband and my 2 boys went here yesterday nov 17th, and this is what their cuts with TK look like. My husband had a different person do his hair and it looks good. My boys hair is horrendous though to say the least. I think my 2 year old could of done a better job."
