"This was my first time using LifeStyle Floors and had an excellent experience! Prices were economical, owners were so helpful in choosing the color carpet and the installers were quick and so polite. I will use them again!"
"The floor fitting services provided by Rial's Exquisite Flooring were excellent. Their dedication to ensuring client pleasure and meticulous attention to detail are genuinely admirable. I couldn't be happier with the results and would heartily suggest their services to anyone in need of expert floor fitting."
"I hired Lifestyle Floors to install LVP on the main level of my tri-level in July 2022. While the floors look good so long as you don't look closely, walking on them is terrible and socks catch easily at most seams. I chose LVP for its flexibility, durability, and because it's supposed to be waterproof (to a certain degree of course). I originally had tile in the kitchen/dining and carpet in the front room, but I wanted LVP throughout. When I pulled up the tile, I couldn't remove all the thinset underneath so I laid down 5/8" plywood to give me a more level surface, and glued down LVP, including under my new kitchen cabinets. I hated the LVP I chose so I hired Lifestyle Floors to replace it and carry it through to the front room. When Sean came out to measure for the quote, I explained about the clumps of thinset underneath and that I had put plywood over it and then glued down the new LVP because it went under my cabinets. I asked that they put down plywood through the rest of the area (and replace any sheets with the glued LVP if needed) so it's a more level surface and then install the new LVP. Sean added the additional plywood to the quote, I accepted it, and scheduled the install for July. During the demolition and installation, I explained to the crew and the field supervisor, what was underneath and why, and asked that they install additional plywood per the quote, and then I went back to what I was doing. The field supervisor looked at the flooring underneath the plywood I had put down, decided it was still in good condition, and decided to pull up my plywood and not install the additional; they installed over the original subfloor and refunded me the cost of the plywood (but not the labor to install plywood) from the quote. During installation, they put a large dent in my stainless steel fridge that I had less than a year, and put a chip in my 6-day old $14k quartzite countertop. They replaced the fridge drawer that was dented and asked for the quote to repair the countertop. The countertop company didn't charge for the repair but it's definitely noticeable. In August 2022, I noticed there was a lot of flexing when walking on the floor and you could hear and feel the seams popping and clicking, especially where the old thinset was underneath. With a naked eye you can easily see where the flooring bends and bows around the thinset underneath. I went to the showroom and asked them to come take a look but no one got back to me. I then sent a monthly email asking for them to take a look. Finally, in February 2023, the owner, Matt, inspected the floor, put what looked like Elmer's glue into two seams and said that's about all they can do. I voiced my concerns about longevity and the reduced waterproofness. He told me LVP isn't waterproof anyway and that it's supposed to be flexible. Fast forward a month and the un-levelness of the seams is more and more noticeable, to the point where socks are catching and a child faceplanted hard when his sock caught. I emailed Sean to express my disappointment, explain how the floor can cause injury, and asked him to personally come look at it. He came out that week, inspected the floor, explained that Matt didn't mean to say it's not waterproof (he meant it's not waterproof if there's a flood), filled in a couple spots with glue, and said he'd talk to Matt. A week later I received an email stating they had installed the floor per manufacturers recommendation and flooring standards and nothing more would be done. So, I have LVP floors that look nice from a distance, are terrible to walk on, have the potential to cause injury, a countertop with a noticeable chip repair, and because they tore out the 5/8" plywood, my cabinets sit higher than they should - I'm 5'1" and 5/8" makes a big difference. I paid $5,500 for a floor I have to have redone by another contractor. Photos from both rooms attached - please excuse the dog hair."
"We have used Lifestyle Floors on a couple of occasions. They installed a beautiful floor in my home office and it was done in a professional manner and in one day. They also installed carpet in the main level of our home. The team helped move furniture and was very courteous. Would highly recommend."
"Deeply unsatisfied with our experience. Seemed ok through the sales process, and Joey was nice to work with at first. He did our estimate and measurements. We knew the price would go up from the original estimate, but we didn't expect the lead time to be longer. We picked this company partly because Joey estimated 7-10 business days (so about 2 weeks). We paid for the order on a Friday, and they placed the order the following Monday, only to then tell us the actual lead time was going to be over 3 weeks. Frustrating since why weren't we informed of this when Joey was estimating the cost, but fine we'll wait and see. Then the estimated date of delivery arrives and passes. We call a few days later (which we shouldn't have had to!), and they say 1. our floors haven't shipped, 2. they don't know where they are, and 3. they have no clue when they'll get here. What kind of response is that? Thankfully, they ended up getting the product and scheduling an install for a bit more than a week later. They gave us an arrival time but didn't call ahead, so my husband had no time to sequester our animals. Then the actual install was sloppy. The technicians put the floor in and were ready to leave, but they hadn't re-installed the baseboards. We paid for that, and my husband showed them, so they ended up putting them back on, but there's about a 2cm gap between the floors and the baseboards. Was material thickness not considered, or does a reinstall just mean we're paying for them to just push it back in to the existing holes? They caulked the seam between bathtub and floor but did just an awful job. It was uneven and sloppy, and again because of the additional gap, it needed to go higher to cover the bottom of the tub. We ended up scraping the caulk out and buying a cover ourselves. They also didn't bring the rubber backing for the bathroom counter. We couldn't confirm that we'd paid for it on our invoice, but that was just even more frustrating. Either Joey had come to our house and forgot to include that in our order, or the technicians forgot it when bringing material. They said they'd get some and come back to install it, but here we are a week later with no call or update. At this point, we'll just do it ourselves because why waste time with this company anymore? Overall, they were bad at communicating properly, and the installation was not satisfactory. We wish we had gone with another company since not only did we have to wait unexpectedly longer for a crappier installation, but now we're stuck fixing the problems they left behind. Product itself is not bad and probably the only redeeming thing."
