"The worst food I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time. The tortilla on my burrito was so tough that the butter knife they gave me did not cut it! The lackluster beans and rice filled most of the burrito and there was only a tiny amount of chorizo inside the $14.00 burrito! If you want the burrito smothered in chili, it’s an additional $4.00. Then I got chips and salsa for $8.00! And when I asked about the Kitchen Fee (the waitress advised it was started during COVID) they STILL have it on the bill! I was shocked at the expensive cost and the poor quality, I will not be back. There are too many options to deal with an experience like this."

"The drinks were delicious, the service was friendly, and the food was tasty. I was a fan of the pumpkin spice margarita, surprisingly very tasty. It's a smaller menu than I would like, but everything that came out tasted good except the "salsa verde" in the salsa trio appetizer. It literally tastes like nothing. I did like the other two salsas and really enjoyed the in-house tortilla chips. Unfortunately, my dinner guest and I got sick almost two hours after we ate here. The only thing that we both had was the grilled seasonal vegetables. They tasted fine, so not quite sure what it was that made us sick."

"Sorry for this long review in advance. First off, the price. Not worth it. Way over priced for the quality and flavor. My daughter got a cup with a lid and the straw looked like it was dirty. I guess they use recyclable straws but failed to mention this. I specifically asked the waitress if the Mexican Coke was the big glass bottle or the tiny one. I didn't want to pay $4.00 for the small bottle with no refills as that is a rip off. I was told it was the big bottle. Everyone at my table ordered the bottled sodas and they were the tiny bottles. We decided to get some appetizers while we waited. We ordered the Salsa Trio $8.00 and the Watermelon, Jicama, and Cucumber with lime and Tajin $7.00. The chips were good as was the mango salsa, but that was it. The green salsa was too spicy and the red really didn't have a flavor. The size of the fruit bowl was absolutely ridiculous. It was literally 3 - 4 pieces of jicama, maybe 3 pieces of watermelon, and around 4 cucumber slices. And they were cut to a small size. Totally not worth the price tag. I specifically asked the waitress before ordering if they used red chili powder in the tamales and again I was told no, so I ordered it. I also ordered a kids Chicken Quesadilla for my daughter. My sister ordered the Not Yo' Nachos with steak and my niece ordered 3 of the Stella's Pork Carnitas Tacos and Yucca fries. When the food was ready, it literally came out of the kitchen one plate at a time. And not one after the other, the first plate came out. Then we waited. Then a second plate. Then more waiting and so on. -The kids Chicken Quesadilla $6.00: The flour tortilla was LITERALLY smaller than my hand. And I don't have big hands. That was it. No sides came with her dish. -Tamale Plate (red) $16.00: So I ordered the red tamales because I was told there was no red chili powder in it. It comes with their rice and I ordered mine with refried beans. No where could I find on the menu that their "Comida" rice was just a knock-off of Chipotle's cilantro rice. I also have the "tastes like soap" gene so I don't eat it. I get my tamale plate and to my surprise it has cilantro rice. Well, can't eat that, but then they put my refried bean ON TOP of the cilantro rice. There was a garnish of pickled radish (why??) that sat by itself, and my tamales that been covered in red sauce. AND SPRINKLED WITH CILANTRO. Couldn't eat the rice (and I tried) barely got a scrape of beans and now had to skim off almost all of the red sauce on my tamales to get rid of the cilantro. I finally get to taste the tamale and there is something, besides the cilantro, that is very apparent. They use red chili powder to make the pork for the tamales. Ugh. -Tacos $15.00 and Yucca Fries $5.00: My niece ate one taco and two Yucca fries. She said they were ok. I tried the Yucca fries and they tasted as such. Nothing special. -Nachos w/ Steak $20.00 Nachos were not bad, the price was still a bit steep, but they tasted good. Comida left a bad taste in my mouth and I can honestly say I will never go back there. Their service was sub-par, the food was not really worth the price, and their flavors are not "Mexican Soul Food". If you want amazing food, go to Maria Empanada, or Carm & Gia Metro. They are totally worth the price and have delicious food."

"After waiting about five minutes without drinks, I noticed a lot of the servers doing nothing. Our server did eventually come by and was great for the most part. My shrimp never came with my fajitas. After we were done eating, I finally just asked for them to go. The ginger mojito tasted great. The queso was cheap cheese (think high school football nachos with spice added), so I would not order that again. My boyfriend had the gordita, which was delicious."
