Golden Leaf Asian Cuisine

"I love the food here, and I get delivered since I have no car to get the food, the last time I got 12 steam dumplings and a serving of pepper chicken. When the delivery man got to the house he asked me to pay for the food which I already paid for which I told him I did online. He changed it to him saying no tip no food, and asked me for the tip money. I didn't tip because I only had enough for food and I normally give a cash tip, but had no change at the time. He asked me to get my card, so I complied. He then called someone who didn't pick up five times, and asked me to come to his car. I said no, because that was very sketchy and I was not going where my friend couldn't see me. We did eventually give him a tip, however he still reluctantly gave me the food. This is the only off experience I've had here so I don't blame the restaurant. I also take credibility for expecting to not tip him for his hard work"

"I have ordered take out a few times. Delivery is very fast and the food is very good. A nice variety of menu items that will please anyone. Great value as well, and the portions are very good-sized. Highly recommend!"

"These folks sent me a flyer, and so I ordered takeout… And the chicken chow mein was incredibly good… Plus the manager came running out to my vehicle and gave me an extra tub of rice. What a great place. Thank you all."

"We ordered several dishes for delivery from Golden Leaf. Overall it was satisfactory however nothing really stood out to me as particularly delicious or memorable. We ordered via Ubereats and it was 30 minutes later than expected. I am not sure if thats the restaurants fault or delivery service so I wont knock them too hard for that. Their spring rolls were below average in my opinion- the filling was purely mushy lettuce and there just wasn’t a lot of flavor or appetizing texture. Their fried rice was cooked well and was decent though it didn’t really captivate me and lacked that umph that sometimes makes me hunger for seconds. Their General Tsos chicken was flavorful and well cooked and probably the best dish of the night. Their Lo Mein was average - the beef was okay and the noodles were a tad dry with a sauce that added a nice salty taste and could have been more present. Each main was over 15 dollars which I believe is overpriced for what we received. I honestly would look elsewhere in the Lakewood area for quality Asian cuisine."
