Joy Sushi

"This has long been a favorite sushi go-to for me! It's been a few years, but I finally made it back here last Friday! They changed the inside from last I remember (if that tells you how long it's been since I visited) and everything looks great! The service was very fast, and everyone was friendly! I highly recommend coming during happy hour because of the deals on the hot sake and beer. They offer all-you-can-eat sushi which is very good, especially for the price per person! Our favorites are always the nigiri! Another favorite is the Joy Roll, the smoked salmon pairs very well with the pineapple and mango sauce! The only critique I have is for the green tea ice cream dessert. It just needs to be a bigger scoop, maybe instead of one, it needs to be two just because of how small it was. Overall, I absolutely love this sushi place and I recommend visiting if you love sushi!"

"We went for the first time on Friday to try the all you can eat. The service was terribly slow. Not sure if the server was new, but we had to ask multiple times for things like an initial glass of water, a glass for my boyfriend’s beer (we asked multiple times and never got the glass), another round of drinks, etc. She seemed very confused and could answer anything about the food. It’s fine to be new (if she was), but at least have someone with her to train and help her out. Once we ordered food, it took about 50 mins for our food to arrive (we had just 2 people in our party). The one side of the restaurant was empty and the other side only had a couple tables left open with many tables already finished, but sitting there finishing drinks. The sushi was mediocre at best. Very thin (which is expected/usual for all you can eat) and not very fresh. We tried a few different rolls and many different nigiri and all very bland across the board. We won’t be coming back."

"Not the best sushi you’ll ever have but good for twenty dollars all you can eat and i wasn’t worried about the quality. I got out having spent 30 on food, tea and a 25% tip. Service was fast and friendly. Restaurant was clean. The only issue I anticipate others having with the place would be their limited hours. Door says Tues thru Saturday lunch 11:30 to 2:30 and dinner 4:30 to 8:30. That’s not a huge deal for me but for some it might not be flexible enough."

"Came in for the all you can eat lunch deal. I really like that it came with appetizers. Our main waiter was fine and responsive. I really liked the tempura and rainbow rolls. Forgot to take photos of the food since we ate it but here is the menu."

"Well, get ready for this. My wife and I hear about this place from a friend of our and their positive experience. BUT, as soon as we set down at 7:30pm, they rushed through the description of their all-you-can eat service and asked every 30 seconds for an order. If you want to rush through your dinner experience in 20 minutes or less, go to this place. I have waited longer in a Taco Bell drive in line. Literally, we placed our 1st order and assessed the rules of the place. Basically. Order a first course and then a second and then a third. BUT, if you done eat every piece, you pay a penalty $2.50 even if you don’t like it. AND, then after our first order was placed, after we were in the place 14 minutes, they called last call for food and drink. For a moment I thought it was last call from the bar; but at the stroke of 7:45pm, this restaurant was closed. So beware, if you want a romantic dinner of delicious sushi, prepare to puruse the men in 3 minutes or less, and place your final order immediately. So much for enjoying a good meal, you are kicked out on the curb. They did have 2 of 5 rolls that were tasty, but you must swallowed them all, or receive the penalty if this experience. I say; avoid the JOY Sushi because they have nothing close to JOY."
