"The original, excellent Beau Jo's pizza when you can't get to the mountains. Very friendly service! Ask for the crushed red peppers to try on top - its AMAZING. $45 for a large pizza though - can't justify that at all if I am not in Idaho Springs."

"Got the create your own pizza and I had it door dashed. I asked for garlic thinking it would be like a few sprinkles of garlic like they do at MOD pizza but there was an ungodly amount of raw garlic underneath the cheese that I literally could not eat it. Horrible."

"100% in love with Colorado pizza now! We got the mountain crust, half dude ranch and half pepperoni. Enjoyed both and would absolutely order another pizza, try different toppings, before we leave CO. The crust is like perfectly crisp on the outside with a chewy middle which I love! The cheese melts different here I guess because the cheese pull on our pizza is nothing like I’ve seen in CA. Sauce has great flavor. Pizza was cooked perfectly. The guy who took our order was so sweet. He knew it was our first time there and was super patient. Gave great recommendations. And even offered the honey for the crust (definitely try it, makes the crust like small dessert, sweet bread) Parking is plentiful, free, and easy!"

"Three of us wanted to try this place based off of a recommendation. Since this was our first time, we took a few minutes to review the menu. The gentleman at the register was kind, helpful, and made excellent suggestions. We ordered a large pizza with the mountain crust (bigger crust) with half Dude Ranch and half pepperoni. The pizza was delicious with plenty of cheese pull. The crust was a win, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. We also tried the honey on the crust which was a pretty cool idea and tasted great! I would definitely go back."

"We visited a small branch that seemed mainly catered for deliveries. However, we managed to arrange a few tables to accommodate our group of 10 (incl. kids). It was our first time trying Colorado style pizza, and it was exceptional. All four pizzas we ordered were absolutely delicious, enjoyed by every one of us. They even provide honey for dipping the remaining crust, which the kids absolutely loved. I highly recommend they consider expanding to locations beyond Colorado!"
