The Canvas Apartments

"The canvas is dangerous and overpriced 1. Multigen Project roaches are invulnerable by exterminators! 2. aggressive, rude, crackhead homeless will trespass inside the tenants parking lot, laundry room, guarding the dumpster & sleep at random neighbors room. 3. Feces everywhere from dogs or homeless. It’s at the stairs, hallway upstairs, laundry room, inside parking lot, & outside office area. 4. Ghetto loud neighbors. 9pm to am partying, fighting, music, dogs, and cops constantly 7 days a week. Anyone with a criminal can live here. 5. Laundry is constantly broken and office will never attempt to have someone fix it. Homeless sleeps inside laundry room. 6. Mail issues. Use the Amazon lockers or get a box at usps."

"I lived here for a year now & it’s okay apartments. Studio extremely small compared to what I‘ve had as a studio before, but other than that love the apt. My complaint is about the mailing system. The office only open from 1-5 & the front office lady don’t get there until after 1:30. I can never get my mail because I work nights. On top of that we have to go to the alley with crackheads to throw our garbage away. I don’t mind living here but they could fix something’s for the price we pay."

"My living experience here was average. I like the small pool and laundry but so are the appliances and i had to get myself a fridge that was more that desk top size. The laundry machines will blow the Fuze and then only one works. It's clean and neighbors are mostly quiet and nice. The biggest issue I have now is that I've called and emailed multiple times since move out about my deposit and Cathy said she'd get back to me then never did. The office hours are impossible and that's how u get your mail. If u worked a 9 to 5 Monday thru Friday you'd never get into the office. Adriana and Mike were managers before Cathy. All nice people but something went wrong when they stopped answering about my deposit. There is no reason an apartment that size I wouldn't get at least 80% of my deposit back. I have the signed letter stating I turned in all my keys and vacated properly. It's just sad because rent is now $990. And my deposit is owed to me. Exit date was sept 18th.. I gave them 30 days to deliver."

"Hello, I am a resident of the Canvas Apartments. It has been 1 weeks and the office is constantly CLOSED. I can never get my mail from the office. This has been a ongoing issue since I moved. I already filed multiple complaints to USPS that I don’t have access to my mail the office is always closed or there is a day off which sometimes lasts 1 week or more. You raise the rent price but cant fix any issues in the complex like installing a mailbox outside so people can get there mail without the office open or closed. I am fed up with this issue. I will be filing a complaint with USPS again since I don’t have access to my mail anymore."

"I moved here in January and have literally had no problems. Maintenance came same day. It’s a small community that comes with all utilities included in rent, including cable and WiFi! It’s half decent too. Yeah it’s a studio, so it’s smaller but it’s great for one to two people! They allow pets also which is always a plus! Even have a little dog park!"
