Cimarron Apartments

"These apartments are definitely pretty on the outside and troublesome after purchase. It's a quiet (semi)peaceful place, really. You'll just be stepping over roaches on the way to your home, in your home as if they pay rent, and right next to your bedside chilling in the corner. On a serious note, Cimarron does offer pest control when the situation occur, but it's honestly useless because they come back within a couple of days. The COMPLEX is infested with roaches not just your apartment. The maintenance does there job fairly well. They just take forever to get to you. In the first month of moving in, there wasn't hot water... for half(?) a month. Now I find out that not only is there constant built-up gunk in a crevice of my bathtub— but it's also a travel spot for roaches. Still waiting on that be fixed. (Over 2 weeks) The fireplace? Never worked. Expected that to be fixed while moving in but never did. Another one is we had a fire alarm issue where one alarm would set off all alarms in the apartment, after HOURS of listening to such screeching noise with no fire in sight. Maintenance took the alarms, (bless his heart) said he would replace them... and never got replaced. So also missing fire alarms. And best of all, this complex is KNOWN for car robbery! Who would've known? I didn't until I got robbed. Nothing too important were taken... Except for a citation ticket and $50 gate clicker. (2 gates that constantly break down every other month) Which is weird because there are 2 security SUV's that survey the area every night. 20/100 chances you'll be able to open the mail door to GET your mailbox. After 20 minutes of going through the 5 stages of grief. Overall, you're paying for it to look pretty. The front desk workers are really nice though. . . . Edit: Update the crevice with the bathtub, it was NEVER fixed. I wrote this review 5 months ago, put in 2 more notices about said problem— THEY PUT IT UNDER COMPLETED??? Why???? Y'all never stepped foot inside for you to call it completed!! But y'all do absolutely anything else on a timely schedule?? Happy my lease is over."

"After living here for two years things have gotten worse the pool is only clean maybe once a week and the apartment itself has no circulation so it gets quite hot in the house . And we’ve been having a lot of activity during the night we’ve had a person take our truck and now we have a person breaking into our truck and there are people Puncturing our gas tank to get gas out and taking people stuff there is so much that goes on and there’s no security around when you need them in the office does nothing to help . I would not want to move here unless you don’t mind anything but this is not a place that I want to stay in stay away. Some doors are coming apart and the bathtubs are painted So beware that you will be charged for all this stuff"

"DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! I’m not just saying this because I’m a Karen. But if I could give this place negative score I would. When we first arrived August 2022. The maintenance, and front desk were amazing great with getting back to you in time. Then they hired other people for all positions. It took a complete 180. Maintenance took FOREVER. Our neighbor waited almost 2 months for maintenance to fix the AC. In the summer. When we moved out we made sure we paid all we needed. We even called the office they said we didn’t owe anything. Then we noticed our app was showing we owed rent. We called the office they said that the app needs to update and to not worry it won’t go to collections. So we waited. (Side note getting someone on the phone was like pulling teeth. Plus when u would get someone on it would be the “wrong” person to talk to.) now it’s December and we believed we were done with this place. NOPE. One of our family members received a call about debt collectors for this apartment. Remind u we gave them our new address. They have our phone numbers. So why they didn’t reach out to us I have no idea. Do yourself a favor DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. Do not rent from Cimarron nor the company that owns them."

"We had an illegal eviction, no 5 day pay or quit, no papers, no court date, nothing on the door and the Marshall came and said he put a paper on the door the night before around 8pm which is b.s. because their not allowed to do so at night. And we had no reason for an eviction. Then they had our stuff for 30 days and would no set an appointment, then when they did nobody showed up that day. We finally get into the apartment someone took everything we had and put in trash bags. We had clothes dishes and food out the refrigerator all in the same bag. And some major things stolen that no ever got addressed. Absolutely disgusting management"

"I am not sure what has happened to this place. When we first moved in a year ago customer service and maintenance requests were handled exceptionally. For the past few months this apartment has become the absolute worst place to live. We have waited over two weeks for our washer to be “delivered” (still hasn’t arrived) and tonight our apartment was flooded with sewage water! The emergency hotline is no help and unfortunately the plumbing company didn’t come properly prepared to fix the issue. Our unit along with two others have been affected with no resolution or accommodation. Now we’re left with no restroom and expected to WAIT until management arrives the next day. Also, we recently had our catalytic converter stolen as security has been MIA for the past few months as well. Absolute negligence I tell you….especially for the amount of rent this place charges. Bottom line….look elsewhere."
