Rancho De Montana Apartments

"There are a lot of three star and lower reviews, and a lot of that has to do with the isolated incident that occurred during the summer of 2023. Overall, this neighborhood is safe and management really had nothing to do with it. With that, I give a four star review for a couple of reasons. 1. The main pool area hot tub, over the last year had been blocked off with caution tape and unusable. 2. The secondary pool hot tub, only really got hot in late summer Those are the only demerits - convenience items. The office staff and maintenance staff were always really nice and helpful. In our case, we gave our notice to vacate (during normal lease renewal period) for March 2nd, in this case, the office was very understanding and allowed us to leave without penalty in mid-February. The property itself is very nice, well maintained. Just note, that if you like to sleep in, best to use sound reducing curtains or something on Tuesday mornings (as this is when the landscaping people come). The location is convenient with a 7-11 and Sinclair next door, and a Smiths down the street. I never really felt unsafe in this neighborhood. The units are well kept and maintained, some parts slightly dated, but nothing bad. In our unit we had all carpeting, except for the bathrooms and kitchen. My only issue, was that the adhesive holding the linoleum flooring in place started to come loose during the summer months. Points to note: 1, The strip is accessible straight away by RTC busses (nearest stop Flamingo/El Capitan) 2. Strip is walkable in about 2.5 hours 3. Walmart complex area is about a 45-minute walk. 4. If you use the expressway (CR-215, use the back exit and take El Capitan to Tropicana and enter/exit from there if you prefer convenience, as Flamingo can be a nuisance) In end, no major demerits in my book. Should I return to Vegas, if the rent cost is reasonable, I would consider renting from here again. Note that I only left due to job relocation."

"We lived here for about 3 years, out of all the staff the maintenance men were ALWAYS the nicest most helpful employees. The women in the office were always dismissive, rude and lazy. I can see them sending one of the Hispanic maintenance workers to check rather than follow proper procedure. It breaks my heart because I interacted with the involved parties often and like I said always so sweet and helpful. The place was perfectly fine while we were there, but things changed so we left."

"We had lived at Rancho De Montana for over 10 years before moving into our home. The staff were amazing! The service team were incredible. We had great neighbors and have lived there for many years. KUDDOS to the amazing people who continue stick together and for each other."

"My wife and I have lived here for 2 years now. We absolutely love the place. We love the pool in the summertime and the community's landscape. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Also, Anita and Kelly at the front office are delightful. They respond fast to maintenance issues. We love it here!"
